It seems there’s a new civil war brewing. This time it’s the Democrats who’ve evidently had more than enough of Nancy Pelosi’s power trip. Know Your Place and take ALL the seats Nancy!

Nancy stepped down as House Speaker two years ago. But then anointed herself as House Speaker Emirata and has continued wielding the gavel of power behind the scenes. It’s an open secret that Nancy herself was one of the architects responsible for shoving Joe out of the campaign. So, her grandstanding just after the election really, and I mean REALLY got Democrat knickers in a twist. 

Her claim that Joe should’ve gotten out of the race sooner was not only laughable, it evidently infuriated many Democrats. Especially given her actions at the DNC Convention.

How very...arrogant of her! That attitude definitely ticked off the Congressional Democrats. And now it seems some of the gloves are coming off. Senator John Fetterman put her on blast yesterday morning. 

The senator Fetterman told Politico Thursday that Pelosi accomplished her goal of getting President Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 election, only to publicly blame him after the Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris lost the race to President-elect Donald Trump.

“She really tried to — what’s the word I’m looking for? — she embraced this, ‘she’s the godmother, she’s the enforcer,’” he said. “And now she’s blaming Biden. Well, you can’t have it both ways.”

“You got what you wanted, and now you’re still blaming Biden,” he continued. “I think it’s really ironic that you have a woman at age 84 and she is still hanging on. Why not give a younger generation an opportunity to occupy that seat?”

I tell you what. John Fetterman continues to amaze and surprise me. That said, I’m sure those comments ticked Nancy off big time! How DARE he question the Queen Godmother of Politics!

The thing is, her hatred of Trump is so embedded in her bones that the 84-year old vampire decided to file for re-election!!

If she wins election, she’ll be an 86 year old crone chewing her dentures! But that doesn’t matter to her. She’s ALL about her hatred of Trump, and this new popular vote total likely has her going for another martini…or five.

Here’s the problem with Nancy. Her own caucus no longer wants her around. They are indicating that they are sick and damn tired of her throwing her weight around. 

This from Axios is flat out amazing. 

“She needs to take a seat,” said one senior Democratic lawmaker.

“Making scattershot comments is not just unhelpful, it’s damaging,” said the lawmaker.

“Hakeem has been tremendously graceful and respectful of her, but I don’t think she is being respectful of him,” said a member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Both lawmakers insisted on anonymity.

If they were willing to go on record, sort of in regards to informing Nancy she’s well past her prime, this is certainly one way to do it! 

Nancy and all the Democrats own their current situation. Yet, it’s obvious that they won’t learn from their half-assed attempt at self-reflection. 

Nancy wants to run again because ORANGE MAN BAD! The Democrats want her to step down and KNOW HER PLACE. Especially since the Democrats cratered in California. Winning only one race instead of the five they were oh so sure they’d win. 

Nancy hasn’t relinquished her gavel, and it shows. 

“My advice to my fellow Democrats is simple: Follow the leader. Hakeem Jeffries has done a great job,” Pelosi said in 2023.

“I understand that this is a difficult transition for her, not being the leader, but she is not,” the member of the Congressional Black Caucus told us.

“She needs to understand what her new role is.”

I’ll admit, that last quote made me laugh. You can just bet Nancy is sitting over there absolutely fuming that her minions are daring to tell HER what her place is! 

You know folks, we really don’t have enough popcorn for all the shows we’ll be treated to over these next few months and four years of President Trump’s second term!
