Wray Hearing – The Hacks And Harpies Edition

Wray Hearing – The Hacks And Harpies Edition

Wray Hearing – The Hacks And Harpies Edition

If you have completely lost faith in our Federal Government, today was particularly devastating. If you still have even a skosh of faith, what is the matter with you? When FBI Director Christopher Wray testified, it wasn’t going to put hope in your heart. The Wray Hearing before the Congressional Judiciary Committee into the Trump Assassination Attempt was full of hacks and harpies. There was no chance that those people wouldn’t embarrass us. For shear idiocy, this hearing was a target rich environment.

The Congressweenies on Judiciary who spoke at the Wray hearing were only interested in scoring and taking names. Un petite peu was learned which made it a better hearing than the one with now-resigned Director Kimberly Cheatle. According to NBC News:

The gunman who tried to assassinate former President Donald Trump may have had a firearm with a collapsible stock, making it easier for him to carry and conceal the weapon, the director of the FBI testified Wednesday.

The gunman also had researched President John F. Kennedy’s assassination, FBI Director Christopher Wray said.

On July 6, Thomas Crooks, 20, searched “how far away was Oswald from Kennedy,” Wray told a House Judiciary Committee hearing, referring to the 1963 assassination.

The collapsible stock, Wray said, would explain why witnesses did not see Crooks walking around with a weapon beforehand and why the firearm was not spotted until Crooks was already on the roof.

Crooks fired at least eight shots and also flew a drone about 200 yards away from the campaign rally’s main stage area in Butler, Pennsylvania, about two hours before it began on July 13, Wray said.

He began to shoot seconds after he noticed a local law enforcement officer on the ground had spotted him, Wray said.

Well, was it eight rounds? Don’t know:

Jerry (Poopy Pants) Nadler was a particularly partisan hack who went after Donald Trump for saying the word “bloodbath” in regards to union jobs leaving the country.

Nadler makes the roots of my teeth hurt. Nadler used the Wray Hearing to settle scores and incite hatred rather than keep all protectees of the Secret Service safe. Does he think other countries will trust us to keep their heads of state safe. Nadler is a fool.

Eric Swalwell has still got chiggers in his pants about Russia, Russia Russia:

Swalwell has a Russia problem. Iran, China and many other countries are trying to influence our elections. It’s not like the United States has ever interfered in an election, right?

Pramila Jayapal is not concerned about the effectiveness of the Secret Service in protecting anyone. She is concerned about Project 25 as part of Trump’s agenda. IT IS NOT.

Good Lord, she is inciting violence.

Matt Gaetz was doing okay, UNTIL he asked about Joe Biden’s cognitive state. Focus, Matt.

This was a waste of time and money. We are all lessened by having sat through this.

  • “MAY have had”? It did, or didn’t. It (supposedly) didn’t go anywhere except into an FBI lab after the shooting.

Obviously trying to cover up that the Leftist assassin was wandering around with it in plain sight.

They’re searching right now for one in the office, somewhere, that isn’t marked with an FBI marking of some kind. Maybe for one that would make it a lot less than 33 inches long.

  • GWB says:

a firearm with a collapsible stock, making it easier for him to carry and conceal the weapon
Oh, FFS, another gun ignoramus. A collapsible stock doesn’t change the length of the rifle except by about 4 inches. (I just checked mine.) So it’s still (assuming an “AR-15 style” weapon) about 33 inches long. Even at a Trump rally where the men are manly men, you’re still going to stand out with that stuffed down your pants.
IF he meant a folding stock, then you get a bit more – another 7″ or so. But that’s not what he said.

would explain why witnesses did not see Crooks walking around with a weapon beforehand
Bullcarp. I wonder if Wray even knows what that would look like. And if the guy was wearing a large coat on a day when it was too hot to be on a roof, then I have to question the intelligence of the cops. If he was carrying it in a case, then you’re telling me the cops had no interest in a guy carrying around a 37×20 inch ballistic nylon case? Anyone? Bueller?

searched “how far away was Oswald from Kennedy,”
Ironically, so did all of us that afternoon.

Nadler makes the roots of my teeth hurt.
Because he makes you grind them together so hard? That’s how it happens with me.

These are dangerous plans to undermine our checks and balances and our democracy.
You keep using words. I don’t think they mean what you think they mean. One of the checks is that the law enforcement function falls under the executive branch. The laws they enforce fall under your jurisdiction, dearie.

This was a waste of time and money.
Some of it was. Some of it was useful for displaying the ineptitude of both Wray and his agency, as well as some congresscritters. But, hey, the last useless hearing got someone to “resign” so we can hold out hope, right?

  • John C. says:

Of course Russia will try to disrupt or influence U.S. elections. They’ve been trying for a century. The notion that they would have tried to get Trump elected, though, is laughable; they would have greatly preferred Hillary.

  • Old School says:

“With respect to former President Trump, there’s some question about whether or not it’s a bullet or shrapnel that hit his ear,” Wray

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen, our vaunted FBI director doesn’t know what shrapnel is.

    • GWB says:

And if he’s trying to keep alive that “Maybe it was glass from a teleprompter” malarkey, then he’s either lying or an idiot with regards to spatial relations. The teleprompters were on the opposite side of his head from the wounded ear.

  • Susan D Harms says:

did Wray really say “cartridges”? why did someone not say, “really, cartridges? not shell casings?”

  • Robert Arvanitis says:

Wray is likely vested in many of his govt. extravagances, otherwise he’d be desperate.
His career is over in 179 days.
