House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer (R-KY) has not let the grass grow under his feet when it comes to investigating Hunter Biden and the tangled financial web that he has obviously been involved in for years.

As we have covered on this blog, Comer has been actively seeking the financial records of the Biden family, especially the SARs (Suspicious Activity Reports) that were being held by the Treasury Department. Comer, as the new chairman of House Oversight, asked for these records in January. The Treasury Department, which holds the SARs that are issued by financial institutions, finally allowed access to the records in March (why did this have to take two months? Hmmmm). Once Oversight had the records, it was revealed that Hallie Biden had gotten thousands of the Biden cash for reasons unknown except her last name. James Biden (Joe’s brother) and Hunter were already known players, but adding Hallie to the mix opened up a whole new dimension. Now, nine different Bidens have been identified through banking records as having “benefited” from the Biden family financial shenanigans. Thanks to a whistleblower, House Oversight is now seeking a FD-1023 form from the FBI that allegedly implicates Joe himself in a bribery scheme with a “foriegn national.”

Meanwhile, Hunter’s lawyers have apparently met with the Justice Department to talk over the possible slate of charges against him (all while a whistleblower claims that Attorney General Merrick Garland is personally sitting on the charges), and Joe claims that Hunter has done nothing wrong. Why is the sitting president of the United States commenting on an open federal investigation of his own son???

Hunter has smoked enough crack to kill a small horse, fathered a little girl that he is deliberately trying to avoid and ignore, and obviously lied in order to get a gun, which then Hallie the dumbass decided to throw away IN A GARBAGE CAN ACROSS THE STREET FROM A HIGH SCHOOL BECAUSE SHE IS A FLIPPING IDIOT. There are two options here: Joe is lying and knows it, or Joe is lying and doesn’t know it because he is losing cognitive function. Neither option is good, and the American people are aware that the options are not good.

And now Representative Comer believes that he has the goods on the Bidens, and is issuing a strange warning to the Justice Department.

Comer warned officials to wait to charge the First Son until they hear from congressional leaders, arguing that the possible indictment could be just a “slap on the wrist” compared to their upcoming revelations.”

“My message to the Department of Justice is very loud and clear. Do not indict Hunter Biden before Wednesday,” Comer said during “Sunday Morning Futures.”

“When you have the opportunity to see the evidence that the House Oversight Committee will produce with respect to the web of LLCs, with respect to the number of adversarial countries that this family influence peddled in, and this is not just about the president’s son. This is about the entire Biden family, including the President of the United States. So we believe there are a whole lot of tips that the IRS and the DOJ don’t know about because we don’t believe they’ve done a whole lot of digging in this, and we have.”

“By all accounts from the media reports that we’re getting, what they’re looking at charging Hunter Biden on is a slap on the wrist. It’s a drop in the bucket,” he continued. “So Wednesday will be a very big day for the American people in getting the facts presented to them so that they can know the truth, and then the Department of Justice can finally do what they should have done years ago.”

… Republicans are set to hold a press conference on Wednesday presenting the American people with additional information on the Biden family’s bank records, a briefing that Comer argued will provide additional information into the investigation led by U.S. Attorney David Weiss.”

Comer warned the evidence they have further implicates the Biden family in a broader, criminal “pay-for-play” bribery scheme.”

“We’re going to present to the American people all the information that we’ve received thus far pertaining to bank records. We’re going to disclose many of the different LLCs, many of the different transactions that all these different Biden family members have gotten from our adversaries around the world,” he said. “We don’t believe this was just a coincidence that all these Biden family members were receiving money from these this Web of LLC into their personal bag.”

“We believe this was done in exchange for something that then-Vice President Biden and now President Biden would have done. So this whistleblower is going to provide some very crucial information to our investigation. And we’ve given the FBI until May the 10th to produce this document, so the ball is in the FBI’s court with respect to this whistleblower.”

I am in two minds about Comer’s statements. Is this a bluff to get Weiss and Garland to actually move forward on the Hunter Biden charges, à la Brer Rabbit asking to not be thrown into the briar patch? Telling the DOJ to not indict Hunter on flimsy charges because you’ve got bigger ones incoming? It’s an interesting strategy. Or does Comer truly have all the goods that he says he does? If so, then why are we having to wait until Wednesday? Why not Monday? Why not Tuesday?

Guess we will all have to wait and see if the DOJ takes the bait, and then listen to what exactly Comer and House Oversight have to say on Wednesday.
