As I wrote yesterday, Nancy Pelosi is hand-picking her inquisitors for the January 6 investigations to tell her preferred narrative. Last night, Tucker Carlson interviewed Mark Ibrahim, a former DEA agent, fired for attending the January 6 Trump event. The interview raised questions about the FBI and its involvement in the Capitol breach.
It seems like decades ago now that we believed that FBI agents were the good guys. Maybe the people at the top were schmucks, but the every day agent was a good guy. The FBI was revealed to be suspect with the Steele Dossier and Peter Strzok. As we learned in the last couple days, the FBI was largely behind the plot to kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer:
Trevor Aaronson, a reporter for The Intercept, says the FBI’s involvement in an alleged plot to kidnap and kill Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) was “very similar” to sting operations targeting Islamic extremists.
Aaronson joined Hill.TV’s “Rising” to discuss Buzzfeed News’s reporting on the plot, which revealed that FBI informants were involved in every aspect of the alleged plot from the beginning.
Aaronson said the plot would “most likely not” have unfolded the way it did given “the large number of informants involved and their place within the conspiracy.”
When Ibrahim was arrested, the media was breathless in its reporting:
FBI informants, hmmm? When Tucker Carlson announced that he would be interviewing former DEA agent about the FBI, our antennae starting buzzing. Ibrahim appeared on Carlson with his attorney, Darren Ritchie, Esq., known as DRE among criminal lawyers. From the Post Millennial’s Twitter account is the video:

You can read or download the 16 page charging document that the Department of Justice filed here. I am no lawyer, but much of it reads like it was written by a highly excitable teenager. This 40 U.S. Code § 5104 that they mention first is, um, rather broad. Over the years, millions of parents who took pictures of their children on steps and statues should be arrested. To wit:
(d)Injuries to Property.—
A person may not step or climb on, remove, or in any way injure any statue, seat, wall, fountain, or other erection or architectural feature, or any tree, shrub, plant, or turf, in the Grounds.
And:
D)utter loud, threatening, or abusive language, or engage in disorderly or disruptive conduct, at any place in the Grounds or in any of the Capitol Buildings with the intent to impede, disrupt, or disturb the orderly conduct of a session of Congress or either House of Congress, or the orderly conduct in that building of a hearing before, or any deliberations of, a committee of Congress or either House of Congress;
(E)obstruct, or impede passage through or within, the Grounds or any of the Capitol Buildings;
(F)engage in an act of physical violence in the Grounds or any of the Capitol Buildings; or
(G)parade, demonstrate, or picket in any of the Capitol Buildings.
As Ibrahim stated, he did not enter the Capitol building even though he says he was encouraged by the FBI informant. He gave his personal phone number to the FBI SWAT team on the Capitol grounds. Whoa, Nelly! There was an FBI SWAT team on the grounds? Ibrahim’s brother is an FBI agent? The informant was someone Ibrahim knew from the his Army deployment to Iraq.
A reach by the Department of Justice? We sure dodged a bullet when Merrick Garland was denied a seat on the Supreme Court. I mean, granted, he is busy suing State of Georgia over her voter integrity law. And, he did arrest two pastors who were at the January 6 riot. But, the riots of last Summer, nope nothing to see here:
So it’s ok for BLM et al to burn & tear down monuments w/ no legal consequences but former DEA agent Mark Ibrahim who attended 1/6 riots & committed no crime, is facing 15 yrs for being “too close” to a monument among other bogus felonies. pic.twitter.com/QSd2dyh8J3

Twenty-five deaths were attributed to last Summer’s riots. One person was killed on January 6. Who killed Ashli Babbitt? Federal building were set ablaze last Summer. Millions of dollars were lost. But, Trump supporters must be pursued and convicted.
Understand, everyone who entered the Capitol building and damaged anything should be arrested, tried, and if found guilty, jailed. But, the Biden Justice Department and the FBI are pursuing people just for being there. Always remember, it’s not about Donald Trump, it’s about teaching us “deplorables” a lesson. Submit.

At a minimum.
