Yesterday, Joe Biden held a drive-in rally in Duluth, Georgia. At the end of the rally, Joe lost his mask for a good 30 seconds. Joe’s mask troubles are a good metaphor for our Nation. We are in trouble. Big trouble. We are lost. The answer is right there in our collective pockets but we can’t find it.

Joe is fully vaccinated and outside. Last week, even old Joe told us we didn’t have to wear our masks outside. But, here is the old creep looking through his portfolio. Joe says he can’t find his mask. Masked DOCTOR Jill tries to help him by going through his portfolio. Joe steps up to the microphone and says he is looking for his mask, he’s in trouble. Joe finally locates his mask in his suit jacket pocket.
None of them need their fecking masks. They are outside for Fauci’s sake.

We are all like Joe. We are digging around, looking for answers when the the Founding Fathers gave us the answers. They gave us the Declaration of Independence. They gave us The Constitution. They gave us the Bill of Rights, with the blueprint to amend those rights as necessary. And, we have amended the Bill of Rights. The Thirteenth Amendment freed slaves and indentured servants. The Fifteenth and Nineteenth Amendments enlarged right to vote to people of color and women. The Eighteenth Amendment gave us Prohibition. The Twenty-first Amendment repealed prohibition.

We have the blueprints for running a successful Republic. Still, we are lost and looking for answers.

We all have mask troubles. The mask is the metaphor. We have the blueprint for our Republic, but Joe has thrown that into question. Joe has said that no Amendment is absolute and he has said it at least three times by my count. First, he said it a year ago, in a campaign stop when addressing Moms Demand Action but he kept it to just the Second Amendment. The second mention was in his April 8 gun control speech:

The third time was in his joint address to the Congress. From the transcript:

These kinds of reasonable reforms have overwhelming support from the American people, including many gun owners. The country supports reform, and Congress should act. This shouldn’t be a red or blue issue. And no amendment to the Constitution is absolute. You can’t yell fire in a crowded theater. From the very beginning, there were certain guns, weapons that could not be owned by Americans. Certain people could not own those weapons, ever. We’re not changing the Constitution.

First, if a theater is on fire, you should yell something. Second, Joe went to law school, allegedly. He should know that the court case on which that well-worn phrase is based has been partially overturned.

The important part here, and no “journalist” has asked is what does Joe mean by no Amendment to the Constitution is absolute. The First Amendment? The Thirteenth Amendment? How about the Twenty-fifth regarding the removal of a President?

This is important, my fellow Patriots. We need to know this. Joe has said this three times. That’s no accident. The future of our Nation depends on knowing the answer.

Get rid of your mask troubles, Patriots. Mask off. Eyes open. Head on swivel. If the Amendments aren’t absolute, The Constitution isn’t worth the parchment it’s written on.
