Forget the Trump/Fauci fight that the media has been trying to foment. The real fight is apparently between Nancy Pelosi and Dr. Deborah Birx, and the media is HERE for it.

This began with a report from Politico on Friday, where Pelosi reportedly slammed Birx while talking to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

PELOSI SAID to Treasury Secretary STEVEN MNUCHIN and White House chief of staff MARK MEADOWS: “Deborah Birx is the worst. Wow, what horrible hands you’re in.” She accused BIRX of spreading disinformation about the coronavirus pandemic, while praising ANTHONY FAUCI, who she said “came to his senses, and is now a hero.”

Translation: Fauci is now seen as some kind of “resistance hero” for publicly disagreeing with Trump, so he is now the “better” expert, while Birx, who has not publicly challenged the president, is “the worst” because she is working with the White House on the coronavirus response. Pelosi can’t actual prove that Birx has spread misinformation any more than Fauci has (remember, Fauci has admitted that the advice on face masks has changed over time deliberately so as not to create a worse run on personal protective equipment), but anyone who works with the Bad Orange Man is, by association, BAD.

There’s really nothing to see here except naked political posturing on the part of Pelosi, who has made no secret of her loathing of Trump. Except that THIS is the catfight that the media wants, and they are happy to publicize on all the morning shows. And Pelosi, when it comes to all things Trump, has no problem repeating the crap she says behind closed doors to cameras on Sunday mornings.

That is the whole and total base for Pelosi’s complaint against Birx. She was appointed by Trump, so therefore, she is wrong by association.

Have we mentioned lately what a total shrew Nancy Pelosi is?

Dr. Birx, however, is classier than Nancy Pelosi (though that doesn’t take much).

Dr. Birx’s record should speak for itself.

In 2014, President Barack Obama nominated Birx to her role at the US State Department as an ambassador-at-large and coordinator of the US Government Activities to Combat HIV/AIDS and US Special Representative for Global Health Diplomacy.”

She served as the head of US Military HIV Research Program in the 90s — a role in which she oversaw the Thai vaccine trial, the first HIV vaccine to show preventative results — and later became director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Division of Global HIV/AIDS in 2005.”

But because she DARED work with the Bad Orange Man, Pelosi is slandering her expertise. Birx didn’t put infected elderly patients back into nursing homes to cause more deaths, or tell people not to wear masks, or tell people that protesting is safe so long as your cause is righteous.

Nope. All Dr. Birx did was be appointed by Donald Trump to the COVID-19 task force, and then not feud publicly with the president over policy. And to Nancy Pelosi, that is unacceptable, because of HER undying hatred of Trump. So much for that “women supporting other women” junk that the left likes to pay lip service to, but only when it is women who are toeing the ideological line.
