Nancy Pelosi is on her last nerve with the shenanigans of the four radical House Democrat freshmen. You know who they are — Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Ayanna Pressley, and the Queen Bee, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

In an interview with the New York Times, Pelosi said the four made themselves “irrelevant” when they voted against funding for migrant children.

After the House bill went down in flames, Ocasio-Cortez fumed on CNN with Jake Tapper as to why she wouldn’t vote for Pelosi’s House Bill. Tapper, however, seemed a bit befuddled with her reasoning.

However, Pelosi told the NYT that the House bill was the strongest one they could get, and she should know since she’s been in office for a gazillion years.

And as for the fractious freshmen?

“All these people have their public whatever and their Twitter world. But they didn’t have any following. They’re four people and that’s how many votes they got.”

Take that, you upstart women!

She continued:

“If the left doesn’t think I’m left enough, so be it. As I say to these people, come to my basement. I have these signs about single-payer from 30 years ago. I understand what they’re saying. But we have a responsibility to get something done, which is different from advocacy. We have to have a solution, not just a Twitter fight.”

Now you know that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wouldn’t take this lying down. And so she quickly responded on Twitter:

But no one saw the Pelosi smackdown coming. After all, the media have treated the freshmen women like goddesses — three of them appeared on the cover of the Rolling Stone.

Plus, the Washington Post just published a puff piece on Ilhan Omar, while HuffPost was asking “What the Hell is Nancy Pelosi Doing?”

Conservative media, however, were snickering.

Well, Hashmi was close. Progressives on Twitter called Nancy a “fascist collaborator,” a “dinosaur,” and “garbage.” Some other keyboard warrior called Pelosi “clown shoes compared to the young dragon.”

Dragon? Someone was watching Game of Thrones waaaay too much.

Time will tell if Nancy’s new tough act will continue, or if she can even herd these cats into their pens. Meanwhile, it’ll be fun to watch. Someone pass the popcorn.
