It is indeed a small world. In my line of work (computer geek), I was fortunate enough to meet & do business with Eugene’s father: Vladimir Volokh. In fact, the company name was a composite of their names: VESoft, for ‘Vladimir & Eugene Software’. Eugene is not only a brilliant Constitutional scholar, he’s also a brilliant software engineer, an excellent writer, an all-around decent guy – and a strong supporter of 2nd Amendment rights (see here: “http://www.law.ucla.edu/volokh/” for some of his writing on that subject – scroll down to ‘Gun Control’). When his family left the former USSR, we here in the USA *clearly* got the better end of the deal. 😉
