If it isn’t obvious by now, anyone and everyone in Hollywood is having their social media and past interviews thoroughly sifted and weighed, and found wanting. It’s obvious to anyone on the outside of the Hollywood bubble just how much rot, corruption, and abuse has been lurking beneath the glittering surface. Harvey Weinstein is human waste.

And he is still delusional enough to think he can get one last indulgence from Hollywood.

Harvey Weinstein, in his first public response since multiple women accused him of sexual misconduct, said “we all make mistakes.”

“Guys, I’m not doing OK, but I’m trying,” Weinstein told reporters on Wednesday as he entered an SUV parked outside his daughter’s Los Angeles home.

“I got to get help,” the former film executive said.

“A second chance, I hope,” Weinstein, 65, added.

For the first time in decades, Hollywood is praying that God exists, because they would love to see a bolt of lightning take out Weinstein and ends this whole sick mess for them.

But in the meantime, the celebrities continue with their mea culpas…

So, what does Twitter decide to do? Suspend Rose McGowan, who has been very vocal about how Harvey Weinstein raped her.

Twitter restored the account access, with this excuse:

“We have been in touch with Ms. McGowan’s team. We want to explain that her account was temporarily locked because one of her Tweets included a private phone number, which violates of our Terms of Service,” a Twitter rep said in a statement. “The Tweet was removed and her account has been unlocked. We will be clearer about these policies and decisions in the future.”

The rep continued, “Twitter is proud to empower and support the voices on our platform, especially those that speak truth to power. We stand with the brave women and men who use Twitter to share their stories, and will work hard every day to improve our processes to protect those voices.”

McGowan has a legitimate point – the board of the soon-to-be-renamed Weinstein Company was writing checks to victims. THEY KNEW.

And to be quite honest, this story could get much bigger than one evil deviant.

Hollywood has used and abused women and children nearly since its beginning. If Harvey Weinstein isn’t a fatal blow to the system, the grave being dug by stars who continue to claim ignorance because it didn’t affect them, and offer empty platitudes now, surely should be.
