If the new Soviet Man, Zohran Mamdani, becoming Mayor of NYCity was a shocker to what few rational adults remained in the Big Rotten Apple, then last night’s primary wins of 3/3 for his handpicked candidates should leave them reeling. And even fly-over country should get serious in noticing.
Major upsets unfolded in New York City on Tuesday night as Mamdani-backed candidates Brad Lander and Darializa Avila Chevalier defeated incumbent Reps. Dan Goldman, D-N.Y., and Adriano Espaillat, D-N.Y., respectively.
And in the open 7th Congressional District, Democratic Socialist Claire Valdez won in spite of outgoing incumbent Rep. Nydia Velázquez, D-N.Y., endorsing another candidate.
Dan Goldman is a putz, but he’s learned that today’s Islamo-Marxist wing of his party don’t accept being anti-Trump as enough. Plus the fact he’s an ethnic Jew in a party that has gone full National Socialist. In Zohran’s New York (like Seattle and many other big blue cities), Jews are to get out of the public eye or just get out.
As the old black humor joke goes — A Zionist Jew and an anti-Zionist Jew walk into a bar and the bartender yells “Get out! We don’t allow Jews here!”
Jeremy Carl, a senior fellow at Claremont Institute, argued that the outcomes reflected broader ideological and demographic shifts within New York City, warning that the city had become a “post-American city” and predicting similar changes nationwide. (snip)
“The future of the Democrat party is radical and post-American in it’s (sic) orientation. Since all of these candidates are in the world’s media capital, they are going to get tons of attention,” Carl continued. “That isn’t going to play well for the Dems in 2026 and 2028.”
Now, we can all hope that 2026 and 2028 will pull the nation back from the brink of either a radical left take-over of the levers of the nation or a hot civil war, but we should not be sanguine that America survives as America past that as Gen Z and Gen Alpha move into the positions of authority because they have largely had (or currently having) years of influence from anti-Western education.
Scott Jennings warns that if the Mamdani-backed socialists win their Democrat primaries tonight, this radicalism is no longer going to be contained to New York and Seattle.
He predicts it will spark a socialist wave across the country.

How have Zohran or Seattle’s Mayor Katie “Failure to launch” Wilson gotten elected? What were their voters thinking?
And we can’t just chalk it up to just that the young are feeling angry about economics, resenting Boomers, and the vagaries of youthful rebellion. That kind of dismissal flies in the face of history. Mao’s Red Guard consisted of high school and university students, radicalized by his beliefs, which included permission to engage in all manner of violence as long as it was directed at The Four Olds (old customs, culture, habits, and ideas). These young Maoists destroyed historical artifacts, demanded “revolutionary” education, even pulled down street signs to replace them with signs reflecting the new revolution.
Understand that socialist voters didn’t spring up out of the ground on Tuesday. We have had decades now of Marxist-dominated academia, from top universities down to local grade schools, that has radicalized students. They have eschewed education for indoctrination so much so that young people currently admitted to college CAN’T READ.
“I taught at California State University for 21 years,” (Victory Davis Hanson) remarked to co-host Jack Fowler. “When I began in 1984, my Introduction to the Humanities course included nine readings—starting with Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, and covering works by Sophocles, Euripides, and Plato, among others. By the end of my time there, that same course had been reduced to two readings: Homer and Sophocles. It was increasingly clear that the students were unable to keep up with the material.”
He recalled beginning with 30 students in his class, but by 2004, the number had grown to 58, many of whom couldn’t read the assigned texts. One student even expressed, “Mr. Hanson, I can’t keep up. Can I leave without failing?” This prompted Hanson to invite the student to his office.
In their conversation, Hanson handed the student a copy of the Iliad, asking, “Can you read this?” The student seemed perplexed by the text’s meaning, particularly about emotions like anger. After giving a brief reading, Hanson noted how long it took him to read a page—realizing it was a daunting task for the student. (snip)
Eventually, Hanson chose to retire, despite concerns that he was acting irrationally, stating, “I just couldn’t take it anymore. You’re admitting students who can’t read or write.”
This is a student with at least 11 years of “education” under their belt and they can’t read? Can’t write? Can’t reason?
Parents got a good long look at what is really going on in the public classroom during the Wuhan Lung Rot Lockdown. That what was passing for the three Rs they expected was.not.happening. They saw rooms covered in Queer rainbows and teaching of pronouns, and found out making kids notice that melanin is more important than character was leading into dark places.
Homeschooling jumped, not enough. Not when stuff like this is still going on …
🚨 NYC ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GOES FULL WOKE INSANITY
Upper West Side 5th graders put on a “performance” where kids mimed getting shot by police, complete with Ferguson and Obama DOJ references.

This is the fertile soil from which Zohran voters and the rest of the sweeping revolutionary guard springs.
Jennings is right. Marxism is ascendant across the nation. But it isn’t organic nor in response to some sort of dystopian reality.
Squishy Republicans (looking at you, John Thune) aren’t helping. We have to help ourselves. And ground zero is the Leftist-Unionist-Education Complex. Take it back or watch Zohran’s cadre of acolytes grow. Islamic Maoism won’t be pretty.
