NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani will not learn the lesson of not being Socialist enough, even though he is being protested by the very same people who voted for his Socialist ideology. In the photo at the top of this post, you can see the smug confidence of the nepo baby. He has been skating above the horrors of his chosen ideology and has no idea what waits.???
Did you hear that he is being protested because he wants to put a homeless shelter for men in the East Village? About 200+ “vagrant” men? From the New York Post:
Enraged East Villagers sued Mayor Zohran Mamdani in a last-gasp effort to stop the relocation of hundreds of homeless men to a new shelter in their neighborhood.
The lawsuit filed Monday seeks an emergency restraining order that would prevent the “rushed” May 1 opening of the intake shelter along Third Street.
The site was selected by City Hall as one of two intake shelters in Manhattan that would effectively replace the notorious Bellevue homeless shelter — a haven for often-dangerous vagrants that Mamdani plans to close by the end of the month.
You know why that shelter for often dangerous vagrants would be a non-starter here in East Tennessee–because we are all heavily armed, thank God and Smith & Wesson. More from the Post:
But Mamdani and city officials not only underhandedly declared an “emergency” to close the Midtown shelter, their decision to plunk its clientele into the East Village was dangerously slapdash, the lawsuit contends.
“It challenges only the City’s hastily made and legally invalid decision to [locate] a new citywide homeless adult male intake center at 8 East 3rd Street without following any of the legal requirements that must precede such a significant and consequential decision.”
The shelter skirmish erupted in March when Mamdani announced the move to close the 250-resident Bellevue shelter on 30th Street, arguing that the city’s largest homeless shelter for men had fallen into severe disrepair.
It fell into “severe disrepair” because the brilliant central planners of New York City didn’t notice until it was too late.
OH, THE IRONY: Socialist NYC Mayor Mamdani is being hit with a lawsuit from his own supporters to stop a homeless shelter from going up in their neighborhood.

More from Fox News:
News of the lawsuit has prompted conservative mockery online, with figures like Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, noting the irony of Mamdani’s supporters turning on the fruits of his administration.
“Oops,” Sen. Ted Cruz said in a post to X.
“No one is more ‘not in my backyard’ than white progressives. This community voted for Mamdani in a landslide but don’t want to live with the consequences,” Michael Henry, a former New York attorney general candidate, wrote on social media.
“Not shocked,” Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., said in a post of his own.
Election District 45, the area that includes East Village, voted for Mamdani in a 70.1% victory over independent candidate Andrew Cuomo, who garnered just 26.0% of the vote.
Even so, 10 residents joined the Village Organization for the Integrity of Community Engagement (VOICE) in their suit against the city after Mamdani announced plans earlier this year to turn a building at 8 East 3rd Street into a citywide intake shelter to house homeless adult men.
With a professor father and a producer mother, Zohran Mamdani has lived in doormen, rent-controlled apartments where you pay not to deal with the fallout from your political ideology.
We shouldn’t just blame the Mamdani parents. It sounds like his teachers at Bronx Science High were Socialists, too.

Did you get the feeling that Zohran was doing the school girl giggle because he didn’t understand the stupid question. Mamdani will “take it back” because he didn’t fully understand the question. Additional top down, pattern bargaining might aid in the destruction of NYC.
At least we know that Zohran Mamdani got his delusional ideas honestly from his Ma and Pa and his Socialist Public School Teachers. For them, there is no free will or ability to act independently. People are all sheep who will follow where the herding dogs lead them.
They just shouldn’t try this in East Tennessee. Socialism doesn’t work.
