The United States Women’s Soccer team lost to Canada 1-0 at the Tokyo Olympics. The best the high-kicking, female athletes can hope for now is a Bronze Medal. After being disrespected by that sour-pussed scold, Megan Rapinoe, for the last couple years, American patriots cheered and shouted, “Oh, gloriosity.”

Karma is a dish best served cold with a slice of humble pie. Midfielder Megan Rapinoe has been the voice of the women’s soccer team for far too long. If she had a good coach or public relations person, like say the late Alabama football coach, Bear Bryant, he might have told her:

“It’s awfully important to win with humility. It’s also important to lose. I hate to lose worse than anyone, but if you never lose you won’t know how to act. If you lose with humility, then you can come back.”

The arrogant females of the women’s soccer team wouldn’t know about humility.

The team sued for equal pay and even had a documentary made capturing their “struggle”. LFG stands for “Let’s Effing Go”. Megan Rapinoe was chosen as spokeskicker for the documentary because:

The idea for “LFG” originated a couple of years ago, just weeks after the WNT filed suit against the federation. Husband-and-wife filmmaking team Andrea Nix Fine and Sean Fine noticed the groundswell of public support for the women, but also observed how many were misunderstanding the complicated legal situation. Their hope was to tell the story of the equal pay fight from the inside, embedding with the team to document what it’s like to be a professional athlete who is suing the organization she works for.

“We made our first pitch to Megan, because she had kind of become the mouthpiece for the team,” said Fine, referring to Rapinoe, who had just been awarded the Golden Boot at the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France. “It starts with the color of her hair, which is like a beacon — a highlighter. We’d seen her rise being more vocal and expressive, challenging Trump and being that one player out there in the public kind of rattling the cages to get people to keep talking about important issues.”

So, this beacon called Donald Trump a “white nationalist” and dragged everyone who ever voted for President 45:

Now, obviously, we have a white nationalist — I think — in the White House and the spewing of hate and the “othering” of the rest of the country has only led to more rift between people and more despair and more anxiety and more fear going forward.

There’s been nothing to ease Donald Trump’s base, really. There’s been nothing, it’s not like he’s given them a bunch of jobs. It’s not like he’s made life really better for them, he’s just given them this false reason why maybe they’re not happy with their lives. There’s been no sort of path forward.

Oh Miss Beacon Rapinoe, on my worst day, I bet I am happier with my life than you will ever be. I do not think you are capable of true happiness. You are genetically blessed and get to play a sport for a living and you are unhappy in your soul. I have been down on the women’s soccer team since Rapinoe said she wouldn’t go “fucking White House” if the team won the World Cup. I stand by what I called her two years ago: “a selfish, self-absorbed, condescending, know-it-all cow.”

The arrogant Rapinoe hopes that someday she won’t feel the need to kneel. Oh, how we hope someday we can please you, not.

Protesting doesn’t make some of us uncomfortable. Protesting to end federal abortion is not uncomfortable at all, Miss Puss.

So, you lost to Sweden and to Canada. Boo freaking hoo. I am cheering. Not that I care, but remember that time the boys FC Dallas under 15 boys beat the women’s soccer team. Yes, that was you too.

The thrill of victory, the agony of defeat, Karma served cold, and horse crip walking. Maybe the Olympics were worth it afterall.
