Will the No Labels never Trumpers welcome Nikki Haley? That’s a lot to ask, I know. But that rumor is swirling around the political crowds today, especially after her home state decided to back Trump instead of Haley.
So what is Nikki’s next move, seeing as she won’t quit even though she doesn’t stand a chance of winning the GOP ticket?
It seems like we talk about Nikki’s future every other day. I’m growing weary of it.
NIKKI PREPARING TO RUN THIRD PARTY TO DAMAGE TRUMP IN GENERAL ELECTION?
“No Labels” National Director, Democrat Joe Cunningham:
“[Nikki Haley] is definitely someone we’d be interested in to have on our ticket.”
Makes sense.

No Labels has been around since 2010. Is it supposed to be some sort of unity party? They use words and phrases like rebuild our country, politically homeless, a united front, extreme left, and extreme right. Centrists full of false hope more like.
Two of the front runners they had hoped to be on the No Labels ticket were Larry Hogan and Joe Manchin, but they decided against it. Perhaps they are not that confident in the group after all.
THE CENTRIST GROUP is looking for a candidate. Their two major options have dropped out — Larry Hogan will run for the Senate (and probably win) as a moderate Republican in Maryland, and Sen. Joe Manchin announced last week that he would not run as an independent. – AGF Investments
So does this now mean they are looking for Nikki Haley to come in and revive them?
Joe Scarborough is a cheerleader for No Labels. No Labels likes Joe, too, because they have this clip of him on their YouTube channel touting what the No Labels’ one goal is – to keep Trump out of office.
Nikki Haley doesn’t want Trump to win either. The following article from Reuters, via Yahoo News, also likes to talk to people in their 60s who hate Donald Trump.
Some quotes from the article:
GEORGETOWN, South Carolina (Reuters) – As Donald Trump comes close to clinching a third presidential nomination, anti-Trump Republicans are facing a sobering reality: Their party is unlikely to revert to what it was before the MAGA wave rolled in, and they now have no obvious political home.
For Ken Baeszler, who consistently voted Republican until Trump and his Make America Great Again movement transformed the party, that political scenario is disconcerting.
“The Republican Party part of me that’s left is hoping Ronald Reagan jumps out from the grave and saves us all,” said Baeszler, a 65-year-old retiree, as he attended a rally for Trump challenger Nikki Haley on a recent sunny afternoon in Georgetown, South Carolina.
“It leaves me in a quandary,” he added of Trump’s likely victory over Haley for the Republican nomination, including an expected win in Saturday’s South Carolina primary. Baeszler said he may ultimately vote for No Labels, referring to the third party seeking to field another option in the November presidential election.
More from another anti-MAGA Trump voter, even though he voted for Trump twice.
“I’ve had enough of Trump,” said David Cyr, a retired pharmacist, at the Haley rally in Georgetown. “I drank that Kool-Aid twice before. Anybody who can’t respect the election process and abdicate – can’t trust them.”
Cyr, 67, said he would likely vote for Biden in November but cautioned that doesn’t mean he is no longer a Republican. “I don’t see that as betraying the Republican Party when they can’t put up the right nominee,” he said.
And yet another Trump voter abandoning ship.
Kim Shattuck, a 65-year-old insurance wholesaler, said she was livid that Trump pressured Republicans in Congress to kill a bipartisan immigration bill this month, believing the move was a ploy by Trump to improve his chances in November.
After voting for Trump twice, she and her husband said they planned to back Biden.
Now, I realize this is just a handful of people they quoted in that article and may not represent the bigger picture, but who knows, really. This political season is turning out to be one for the history books.
With all the media heads and political experts pontificating over this race, surprisingly, the only thing that has been spot-on in this race are the polls.
I don’t think Nikki Haley will jump over to the No Labels people. But I’ve certainly been wrong about things before.
It doesn’t mean that they won’t court her, though. Just hours ago, Joe Cunningham, the No Labels director, told Fox & Friends Sunday that they’d be happy to have her on their ticket. But he also said they will not announce their candidate until after Super Tuesday. Things that make you go, hmmmm.
Let’s hope this is the last time I have to write anything about Nikki Haley.

She may as well run for the Green Party. She might get more votes that way.
Trump is the nominee but she is right about Trump. Republicans decided to roll the die on a winnable Trump-Biden rematch. What happens when Biden isn’t the nominee?
Mr. Baeszler seems to forget that Reagan was not beloved by the party insiders in 1980. That’s why he had to go with George H.W. Bush as V.P., to placate them.
And by this point, I do not want a Mr. Nice Guy.
I hear ya! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
The “Oh so Wise” types who all know better than the rest of us need to indicate to some extent who would be their ideal candidate, not a style, but an actual person.
The Deep State has been exposed for what it is, erudite and self-styled elitists who want what THEY want. What they want is money and power with a bit more power and money on the side. They want to be the ones on the political red carpet where everyone is calling out to them and snapping their picture. They want nothing that is good for the country, only for themselves. They are the “Let them eat cake” types.
Well said! Thanks for reading and commenting.
