This is two weeks old, but in case you didn’t know about it, you should. On May 7, a new requisition was added at FBO.gov for a government agency trying to acquire firearms…but not just any firearms, and not any of the law enforcement agencies. Breitbart reported on it at the time, but as is the case for most news items that you need to pay attention to, the MSM ignored it.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of Inspector General, located in Washington, DC, pursuant to the authority of FAR Part 13, has a requirement for the commerical [sic] acquisition of submachine guns, .40 Cal. S&W, ambidextrous safety, semi-automatic or 2 shot burts [sic] trigger group, Tritium night sights for front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore grip) and scope (top rear), stock-collapsilbe [sic] or folding, magazine – 30 rd. capacity, sling, light weight, and oversized trigger guard for gloved operation.
The Department of Agriculture? To be fair, the United States Forest Service falls under the USDA, and they have a law enforcement division. Do they need submachine guns, however? Of course they do. Because raw milk farmers are evil, and when you drink raw milk, the terrorists win. Thank God we have the beef and milk Gestapo around to dump it all out and raid the dairies with SWAT teams.
American citizens should be allowed to legally purchase any weapon the government acquires for domestic use.
Agreed. And I want one of these:

Forest Service?
You mean that it isn’t to protect us from Children of the Corn?
You have no idea how sad this revelation makes me.
