With Trump in office for just over a week, it seems the days of illegal criminals and DEI may be further behind us. Yesterday, we moved one step closer to protecting children.

Donald Trump signed an executive order aimed at cutting federal support for gender transitions for people under age 19. The Presidential Action, dubbed “Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation”, aims to halt government funding for harmful transgender surgeries and drug protocols with regard to minors.

Countless children soon regret that they have been mutilated and begin to grasp the horrifying tragedy that they will never be able to conceive children of their own or nurture their children through breastfeeding. Moreover, these vulnerable youths’ medical bills may rise throughout their lifetimes, as they are often trapped with lifelong medical complications, a losing war with their own bodies, and, tragically, sterilization.

Accordingly, it is the policy of the United States that it will not fund, sponsor, promote, assist, or support the so-called “transition” of a child from one sex to another, and it will rigorously enforce all laws that prohibit or limit these destructive and life-altering procedures.”-whitehouse.gov

“Chemical and surgical mutilation” includes puberty blockers, sex hormones, such as androgen blockers, estrogen, progesterone, or testosterone, and any “surgical procedures that attempt to transform an individual’s physical appearance to align with an identity that differs from his or her sex or that attempt to alter or remove an individual’s sexual organs to minimize or destroy their natural biological functions.”

PBS defines this as “rolling back protections” for transgender people across the country. CNN calls these barbaric acts of mutilation “gender reassignment procedures” Reuters calls this “healthcare“.

The push is the latest by Trump to reverse policies by the Biden administration to protect transgender people and their care. On Monday, Trump directed the Pentagon to conduct a review that is likely to lead to them being barred from military service.”-PBS

To reverse the (wack) policies by the Biden administration to fund the mutilation of children. This is not providing a person with care. The executive order also addresses TRICARE and Medicare:

The Department of Defense provides health insurance, through TRICARE, to nearly 2 million individuals under the age of 18. As appropriate and consistent with applicable law, the Secretary of Defense shall commence a rulemaking or sub-regulatory action to exclude chemical and surgical mutilation of children from TRICARE coverage and amend the TRICARE provider handbook to exclude chemical and surgical mutilation of children.”-whitehouse.gov

Currently, TRICARE does not provide surgical transition but, according to the provider handbook, the health insurance covers gender dysphoria (GD) services for children, to include hormone therapy and mental health services.

A study concludes that gender dysphoria has increased 50-fold from the years 2011 to 2021, questioning the legitimacy of the “science” of the trend and posing serious questions about the role of a social contagion. It’s “cool” to be the kid whose name changes at school. It’s “cool” to be the girl who is now a “guy”.

The Trump administration addresses the “science”, too:

Sec. 3. Ending Reliance on Junk Science. (a) The blatant harm done to children by chemical and surgical mutilation cloaks itself in medical necessity, spurred by guidance from the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH), which lacks scientific integrity.”-whitehouse.gov

Some of the crazy “junk science” uncovered from WPATH literature? Thought you’d never ask:

A whole chapter of literature on eunuchs as a “gender identity” to be validated with hormonal or surgical castration. If a man merely “identifies” as a eunuch, this could warrant removing his genitals to match his claimed identity.

Removed minimum age requirements for puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries so doctors could “use their judgment” for giving these so-called “treatments” to younger and younger patients.

A chapter on “nonbinary” interventions for patients who desire no genitals or both sets of genitals.”-Alliance Defending Freedom

Of course, the left is going to say this is “cruel”. This is “anti-science”. The Trump administration wants children to suffer, while they place individuals in the medical community who desire to mutilate these very same children on a pedestal:

The left will also attempt to mesh this order in with adults who half already transitioned. The narrative is such that already, news chambers are echoing that this is a “hateful” administration. That Trump wants to take away the rights of “all transgender people” to include children who “just know they were trans” when they are toddlers.

The two-year old (and the eager parent who wants to be play-group cool) will have to wait until said toddler is old enough to understand a human biology class before ingesting chemicals, or getting their parts mutilated. Said eager “cool parent” may have to be less “cool” and actually sit their questioning child down to have some conversations deeply rooted in reality about torture and mutilation and yes, sometimes regret. And, if common sense has indeed returned, we don’t have to fund the turmoil and torture of these poor kids.

I’ll take that as a win.
