Because all great arguments start off with name-calling, “journalist”, Touré, runs right out the gate in his latest piece, calling out Condoleezza Rice’s stance on Critical Race Theory.
A bit about this cat named Touré-a black man who grew up in a wealthy black family and attended the likes of The Milton Academy (a prep school and feeder school for Harvard) and Columbia University. What, now, is Touré triggered about? Rice’s appearance on The View, apparently. Take a look:
Now, The View is enough to trigger the best of us. If looks could have killed, Sunny Hostin’s stare at Condoleezza was, well, not so sunny. If side-eyes and puckered lips had power, she would have knocked that woman right off her chair. That was some serious hate there. That didn’t happen, but leave it to Touré to come in for the kill:
Condoleezza Rice’s recent appearance on The View was offensive and disgusting for many reasons but she was who we thought she was: a soldier for white supremacy.”-Touré
Or was that a foot solider, Touré?
Imagine attacking Condi Rice with a misspelled headline.

Columbiuh. Not the first time I’ve seen a misspelling or usage error from someone with this pedigree. Last time, was from white military officer born with a New England silver spoon up his ass who was equally as smug and pretentious as Touré. Yes, there is a difference between “their” and “there”. There, there. I digress. Read on:
Her primary argument against Critical Race Theory is that history should not be taught in a way that makes white kids feel bad. What? We should whitewash U.S. history to protect the feelings of white children? Excuse me, I misspoke — we should whitewash U.S. history even more than we already do in order to protect the feelings of white children?
Our classrooms should not be another example of white privilege, they should reflect the ugly reality of American history. But really the whole discussion is bizarre — we are debating about whether we should teach our children real American history or if we should lie to them and protect their fragile white hearts.
I cannot accept a country that contorts itself to avoid causing white pain. I’m not here to help comfort white people. And Lord knows I am never, ever going to center them.”-Touré
A country that contorts itself to avoid causing white pain? This is the product of a MFA stint at Creative Writing at Columbia. This is also not what Touré was at all concerned about when he went after Holocaust survivors on Twitter in 2014 and then offered a half-hearted, smug apology for “debating nuanced topics in 140 characters or less“.
Let’s also not forget the pain Touré inflicted upon a woman in 2017. Yes, Touré, sexual harassment from men of any color is painful. But, I suppose, in your case, it was okay because this woman is white? Another half-hearted apology:
On the show, our team, including myself, engaged in edgy, crass banter, that at the time I did not think was offensive for our tight-knit group. I am sorry for my language and for making her feel uncomfortable in any way. As a lead on the show, I should have refrained from this behavior. I have learned and grown from this experience.”-Touré
Edgy, crass banter? Asking a woman to “do anal” with you and whether or not she has sex on the weekend?
Imagine a world where “edgy, crass banter” is excused as a form of “humor” to belittle a woman. (HAs anyone listened to a Hip-Hop song lately?) Imagine a world where the Holocaust is referred to as “white on white crime“. Where white authors of books about CRT collect paychecks in the thousands for seminars discussing how to make other white people “less racist”. Imagine a world where white, MALE, school administrators want to rid high school libraries of ANY books by white, MALE authors. Imagine a world where fights in schools are centered around racial tensions because of the constant demonization and race-baiting within the curriculum, all while dumbing down essential curriculum because the white man wants to be “equitable”. This is the world Touré wants to live in.
Our country is not without its scars. No country is. A country that contorts its history, its language to the point of being unrecognizable because it is causing pain to all of its citizens, inflicting divisiveness and pain upon each other, is unacceptable. But rock on with your bad self, Touré and call Condi Rice a “foot soldier” or “solider” if it makes you feel better. And, if you REALLY can’t accept it, pack your bags.

She lost a childhood friend to a KKK bombing. She doesn’t whitewash anything, she just engages in history in an adult manner, not as a stompy footed toddler.
Toure (what is his first name?) only has his job because of his skin color.
