too late to apologize: a declaration (video)

too late to apologize: a declaration (video)

too late to apologize: a declaration (video)

this is really quite terrific… a parody of sorts of our founders and their decision to write the declaration of independence. here’s how the makers of this video describe it:

‘When people who love politics, pop culture and filmmaking are asked to humanize the sentiment of the founders in writing the declaration, we sometimes get carried away.’

yep. awesomeness.

Cool. Kinda “nerdy” in a good way. (Like it’s “nerdy” to respect one’s elders.) The video is well produced & not a bad tune, either – though modest in it’s scope. : )

(I like that these guys are spending their time understanding & supporting matters dealing with this nation’s founding & focus on freedom, rather than pumping out yet another boasting & posturing me-me-me video like that we get from a lot of pop culture, etc.)

  • Very cool. Lest we forget what this country was founded on:

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.
