The internet is forever. Let us never forget that. Now, it is revealed that Tim Walz’s older brother, Jeff, has made his politics known in a Facebook post.
It is reported that the brothers haven’t spoken to each other in eight years. I wonder why. Eight years ago, what was happening in the world? Hmmm, was it an election year (2016) when Donald Trump was the Republican candidate for President?
Down here in the South, if a family under one roof cheers for two different college football teams, we all call it A House Divided. I am sure that is not what Abraham Lincoln had in mind when he used it in his speech delivered at the Illinois Republican State Convention in Springfield, Illinois, on June 16, 1858.
I hate to use the name Abraham Lincoln alongside Tim Walz; my apologies, but here we are.
Jeff Walz is the brother of the current VP nominee, and in March of 2023 — shortly after Donald Trump was indicted — Jeff took to Facebook to decry this injustice: “We’ve just become a third-world banana republic.”
After Kamala Harris tapped his brother, Facebookers discovered his post and wrote replies. Some told Jeff that he should speak to his famous brother about the situation, and here’s where Jeff’s responses got extremely interesting: He said he hasn’t spoken to his brother in eight years. “I’m opposed to all his ideology. My family wasn’t given any notice [that] he was selected [VP] and denied security the days after.”
Hmm. Sort of seems at odds with Walz’s newly-minted reputation as “America’s Dad,” doesn’t it? – PJ Media
The liberal media is all about highlighting and boosting the family voices who are against Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (RFKJ) and, of course, Donald Trump.
News articles have been written, and family members of both Trump and RFKJ have been interviewed on camera by the mainstream media.
But, they are silent on this riff between the Walz brothers.

I don’t know if Jeff Walz will join the Trump campaign. My guess is that it would be a big fat No. It appears that Jeff would like to be left alone to live his life in Florida.
When another commentator encouraged him to join President Trump on stage, Jeff wrote, “I’ve thought hard about doing something like that. I’m torn between that and just keeping my family out of it. The stories I could tell. Not the type of character you want making decisions about your future.” – PJ Media
Considering that this is the brother of the Democratic vice Presidential nominee, the media might be interested in investigating, asking questions, and reporting on it.
But nope, instead, we have another Democrat who likes ice cream.
Story after story of Tim Walz keeps coming to light. It makes you wonder if Kamala and her team vetted her Plus One; it was short notice. Or at least the media portrayed it that way anyway.
Jeff Walz is not the first family member to take issue with a prominent politician-relative.
Harris is apparently estranged from her father, Donald; Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s family has denounced his now-defunct presidential campaign.
Former President Obama was famously dogged by his Kenyan half-brother Malik, while Trump has faced a book-length condemnation from his niece Mary Trump, along with another tome by his nephew, Fred Trump.
“If the mainstream media has no problem amplifying the voices of Mary Trump and the family of RFK Jr. who speak out against Republicans, then the American people deserve to hear more from Tim Walz’ brother,” Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) told The Post. – New York Post
Eh, who knows – between Tim Walz’s grandiose ideas about himself and embellishing (or outright lying) about his life, maybe his brother’s dissent isn’t a big enough news story for the media.
Heck, they don’t cover his horrendous record as a politician when he let Minneapolis burn in 2020 or his tyrannical handling of COVID lockdowns.
Or how when Walz signed a law making Minnesota a trans refuge? Trans refuge sounds comfy, doesn’t it? But you know the left and their language. What Tampon Tim really did was to sign into law that the state can take custody of your children if the parents don’t go along with this gender switcheroo crap.
So, I don’t need to hear from Tim’s older brother to know he is up to no good.
Is politics getting even uglier when the media starts running down family members to try and drag them into the spotlight? Or is it fair game? Should family members be off-limits?
