The American Dream Is Dead, Trump Says So

The American Dream is dead. Trump says so. It must be true, then, right? Maybe. Maybe not. I want to disagree with Trump and say, “NO, sir! The American is NOT dead.” However, take a look around.

Well, Trump isn’t wrong here when he says that the American Dream is dead as long as Joe Biden is in the White House.

Maybe Joe isn’t killing the American Dream but simply carrying out Obama’s dream of fundamentally transforming America instead.

Joe Biden and the Democrat Party are incapable of solving any problem. They haven’t solved anything, they’ve only created problems,” Trump said. “As long as Joe Biden is in the White House, the American Dream is dead.” – The Hill

It would appear that America is collapsing and the American Dream is dead or on life support. I only stand here today hoping Joe Biden will be booed off the stage in the 2024 election. Of course, I also thought there was no way Joe Biden would win the Presidency in 2020. WOW, was I ever wrong? If you believe the election was legit.

But here we are.

Tell me where he’s wrong. However, I don’t share his confidence in the 2024 elections.

On day one of Joe Biden’s Presidency, he signed a ton of Executive Orders. From undoing all of Trump’s rules and policies to signing America back up to the Paris Agreement – all in the name of climate change –  and the Executive Order promoting racial equity, just to name a few.

We have all witnessed the results of just those few executive orders. Let’s executive order our way to the American Dream.

And now all eyes are on New Hampshire as all the candidates gather in the Granite State to win over voters. Governor Sununu has endorsed Nikki Haley, of course. Trump is pissed.

And it was at Trump’s rally in New Hampshire where he, once again, told us the American Dream is dead. It’s not the first time Trump has said such a thing.

Is The American Dream Dead Or Just Redefined?

Perhaps it depends on who you ask. If you ask someone like Rachel Levine, Patrisse Cullors, or Lia Thomas, they might tell you that the new American Dream is alive and well. Or maybe we should ask the thousands of pro-Palestinian protestors across the United States. You know, they can do whatever they want without consequences. Is that the new American Dream?

Last week, Mike Slater asked this question on his morning show, Breitbart Daily News, on SiriusXM’s The Patriot channel. Or he asked what the American Dream is in today’s climate. What does it mean now? Has it changed?

American Dream, ideal that the United States is a land of opportunity that allows the possibility of upward mobility, freedom, and equality for people of all classes who work hard and have the will to succeed.

The roots of the American Dream lie in the goals and aspirations of the first European settlers and colonizers. Most of these people came to the North American continent to escape tyranny, religious and political persecution, or poverty. In 1776 their reasons for coming were captured by the Founders in the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” These lines have often been cited by groups seeking equal standing in American society.

Notice the writer uses the word equality and not equity. And the word opportunity. And possibility. Work hard and have the will. And maybe it’s just me, but did Ms. Murtoff just use the word ‘colonizers’ in a positive way?

A mere 250 years ago, the colonizers threw some tea into the Boston Harbor, which “led to the greatest break-up letter of all time, our Declaration of Independence,” as Victory Girl Nina writes.

Personally, I think Trump was simply using his inflated language to get our attention. I don’t think Trump actually believes the American Dream is dead. Do you?

    He’s trying to get attention and support. And no; the dream is not dead but it’s fading fast because it’s very tough to sell the idea of working for a goal when Big Daddy Government promises to take care of you instead.

    It’s in a coma, at this time, but can be brought back. Cull the regulations, and turn the economy loose.

    Our MSM have become activist attack dogs for the democrat party rather than watchdogs of democracy as envisioned by our forefathers. Our academic establishment, destroyed by the unions, and dominated by Neo Marxists, have become indoctrination centers passing to younger generations values that are antithetical to what was envisioned. We have an election system that is so tarnished, and untrustworthy, that vast swathes of the people have lost faith in it. Obama, in his first two terms openly called for a fundamental transformation and in his third term, he being the puppet master with most of his malevolent ideologues pulling the Biden strings, has weaponized the Federal Agencies and military, brought back racist hatred and hatred of the police, encouraged transgender activism, and made the US weak. It will be a arduous task to nullify the terrible damage he has done.
