New Years Day 2025 is one for the books. Not only do we have a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans; we now have the Tesla Cybertruck exploding directly in front of the Trump Tower in Las Vegas being investigated as a potential terrorist attack.
A Tesla Cybertruck exploded near the entrance of Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas on Wednesday morning, killing one person and injuring seven others, according to police.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a social media post Wednesday that it was investigating a vehicle fire at the entrance of Trump Towers and that the fire had been extinguished. It advised people to avoid the area.
Seven people near the vehicle suffered minor injuries, Thomas Touchstone, deputy fire chief of the Clark County Fire Department, said Wednesday during a news conference broadcast by KSNV News 3. He said a body was found in the truck.
I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who thought it was poor timing that yet another EV (no matter the brand) had a battery or something else catch on fire at exactly the wrong time.
HOWEVER, I was wrong. There’s definitely more to the story and it isn’t looking pretty. Once one looks at the various videos of the truck exploding, you realize something is off. Way off.

Most EV’s, when they catch on fire, end up burning for hours and don’t send flames and such shooting in all different directions. But fireworks do…
One person died and seven others were injured Wednesday when a Tesla Cybertruck that appeared to be carrying fireworks caught fire and exploded outside President-elect Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel, authorities said.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police and Clark County Fire Department officials told a news conference that a person died inside the futuristic-looking pickup truck and they were working to get the body out. Seven people nearby had minor injuries and several were taken to a hospital.
The fire in the valet area of the Trump International Hotel Las Vegas was reported at 8:40 a.m., a county spokesperson said in a statement.
According to a law enforcement official, the truck was rented via the Turo app and appeared to have a load of fireworks. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.
Elon Musk immediately had his people investigating and then provided the following information a short while ago.
We have now confirmed that the explosion was caused by very large fireworks and/or a bomb carried in the bed of the rented Cybertruck and is unrelated to the vehicle itself.

All vehicle telemetry was positive at the time of the explosion. https://t.co/HRjb87YbaJ
So the truck itself was totally fine. But investigators are trying to determine if the fireworks were deliberately set off.
The Las Vegas Sheriff announced that a deceased person (presumably the driver) was found in the Cybertruck that was exploded at Trump Hotel. Seven people suffered minor injuries.

An uptick in terrorist acts right now is not surprising. Let’s try to maintain cool heads. pic.twitter.com/OvXXl86f2a
Here’s something else to consider when looking at this potential terrorist attack, does Oklahoma ring any bells? Because that thought occurred to me and several others as well. Furthermore, the both vehicles today were electric.
Why electric trucks in both cases? Counting on the nature of the power system involved causing more damage?

That’s a fair assumption.

It is an absolute miracle here that no one other than the driver was killed.
Here’s another “coincidence:”
Officials have not yet confirmed the identity of the driver in the Cybertruck but have insisted that there is no evidence the two incidents are linked.
Investigators did, however, determine that the Tesla truck was rented through the Turo app, the same one used to rent the pickup truck used in the New Orleans attack, law enforcement sources told The Post.
Wait, read that again. There’s no link between the two attacks EXCEPT for the fact that both vehicles were rented through the Turo app, which is a peer-to-peer car sharing company. That sure seems like a major link to me.
TRUMP TERROR ATTACK? Was the explosion of the Cybertruck at the Las Vegas Trump Hotel an act of terrorism? @nicksortor is reporting the driver pulled up, remained in the car with foot on brake (brake lights seem to confirm), and detonated some sort of explosives and/or fireworks.… pic.twitter.com/93HDXzGOZM

As I pointed out in my post regarding the New Orleans terror attack, DHS has been unable to locate at least 50 ISIS terrorists. They managed to get into this country and their whereabouts are unknown right now. But hey! We caught most of them!
I hope we don’t have to find out the hard way. I wish we had a FBI that cared more about finding them than they do about finding American citizens who walked through the capital on J6.

I’m horribly afraid we are in the process finding out how badly Joe Biden F**KED things up with his open borders policy. Especially now that it’s being confirmed that THIS attack at the Trump Tower in Vegas was intentional as well.
NBC News: The investigation into the explosion of a Tesla Cybertruck outside of Trump’s Casino and Hotel in Las Vegas shows it was intentional and the incident is now being looked at as a possible terror attack, three senior law enforcement officials briefed on the matter tell…

Speaking of Joe, he’s been very quiet today. And no, a few quick remarks standing on an airport tarmac doesn’t cut it given todays events in New Orleans and Las Vegas.
January 20th can’t get here fast enough so that President Trump can shut our borders down and find those ISIS linked illegals roaming this country putting us all at risk.
