Today, Officer Weijian Liu will be honored at his funeral in Brooklyn, and then laid to rest.
Thousands of police gathered for his wake yesterday, where Mayor Bill de Blasio also put in an appearance.

The “without incident” remark comes in the aftermath of the funeral of Officer Rafael Ramos, where many NYPD officers turned their backs on Mayor de Blasio as he delivered remarks during the funeral service.
