Like weeds appearing after a warm spring rain, demands from the usual convention of coveting Leftists for “reparations” makes its toxic appearance in the halls of Congress yet again.
This time, the torch last borne by former (and defeated) “Squad” member Cori Bush has been passed to Rep. Summer Lee (D-PA) who gets right to work in trying to bully her way in picking the pockets of taxpayers.

Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pa., reintroduced a resolution Thursday that, if passed, could give federal dollars to the descendants of enslaved people brought from Africa to the United States.
Former Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., who lost her 2024 primary to a more moderate Democrat, introduced the reparations bill in the last Congress. Bush’s bill, unveiled in May 2023, called for $14 trillion to be put toward reparations payments for descendants of slavery in the United States, but it did not go anywhere.
“We say to the rest of America: If you are truly committed to justice, as you try to say you are, you cannot look away. You cannot turn your back on the demand for reparations, because until there is repair, there will be no justice. And where there is no justice, we will continue to fight. We’re not going anywhere. We are awake. We are organized, and we will win. Reparations now,” Bush said alongside progressive Democrat Reps. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass., and Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., at Lee’s announcement.
As the saying goes, beauty may only be skin deep, but ugly goes right to the bone. And, boy howdy, is Lee and ilk some bunch of bone-deep ugly excuses for human beings.
Lee isn’t even trying to make any pretense at “justice” in spite of her promiscuous torturing of the word. There is no justice in confiscating the property and earnings of people who never owned slaves to redistribute it to people who never were slaves. That’s even assuming $14 TRILLION would actually find its way to the end individual Lee and her toxic cohorts pretend to champion for. Like California’s high-speed rail blackhole, that money will disappear down thousands of deeply buried rabbit holes into the off-shore bank accounts of other Deep State bureaucrats and their friends.
DOGE may have exposed the Uniparty money-laundering of USAID and put the bare minimum guard rails on Treasury payments, but these parasites have been feasting unchecked for decades on taxpayers. They not only won’t go without a fight, but they are also out-in-the-open with their treachery and promises to punish any who stand in their way. The farce is with us always.
There is a part of the black community that follows these steps. The median income of an intact, married with children black family is $94,493. Single black moms median income … $34,544.
It isn’t Whitey keepin’ black folk down.

Our institutions — Government, academic, social (even ostensible religious ones) have been hollowed out by the Left and worn like a skinsuit. Decades of increasing racial discrimination against WrongColor outgroups used to be routinely denied. Then it was admitted, but justified that too many Asians/Whites/Jews were, by their mere presence, depriving historically oppressed minorities of their due. When those attempts at weaponizing empathy started to fail, then the Racism is a GOOD THING when we do it to YOU schtick was pushed.

John C. says: One thing that would almost certainly result from any “reparations” if they were ever paid: White Americans would say, “We’ve paid, we’re done. It’s all on you now.” And they would be fully justified in saying so. That would end the race hustlers’ lucrative racket.

Sadly, we “outsourced” looting to government decades ago. Really! What else is “income redistribution?”
Skillyboo says: They quietly, among those leftists who feel reparations are in order, expect the money to come from the IRA monies they believe was earned by the labors of Blacks. Never mind that reparations are being paid since 1964 with the hard earned dollars of people who have paid into the Social Security Ponzi fund.
