Seems as though Disney is not pulling out all of the stops on the latest live-action version of Snow White on March 15th.

According to this, Disney is scaling things down “because of Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot controversies”.

Now, we’ve all heard about little woke rathole, Rachel Zegler but Gal Gadot? Apparently, as the narrative goes, the premiere will be a smaller one because Gadot is Israeli. Because Gadot, who is Jewish, openly spoken about Hamas violence against Israel. This is controversy, as they say.

Along with my husband Yaron, I’m bringing up four daughters to also be proud of who they are: to take responsibility, to love themselves and to love others. We’re raising strong independent Jewish women. Strong women who stand with other women.

I know that many women in this room and in our community, have always stood strong for the rights of women and girls. On October 7th, Jewish women were sexually terrorized, murdered, raped and kidnapped by Hamas. I can only imagine what she thinks of her co-star, “Free Palestine” Zegler. Snow White herself.

Side Note: Gadot looked as if she has a good 6 inches more on Zegler at The Oscars. I, personally, would have clobbered her over the head with that trophy. If I knew this were going to happen, I might have actually watched the vanities in their couture offering up self-congratulatory platitudes and nominating a MAN for “best actress“.

In truth, Zegler should have played the part of Dopey. But, alas, Woke Disney can’t have an actual dwarf playing the part of Dopey! Best to replace all dwarves with CGI characters than give Peter Dinklage a role. Then again, Dopey, the cartoon character steals and drinks. Tyrion Lanister drinks and knows things and made millions.

Back to the “scaled back” premiere.

Disney is acknowledging the scaled back premiere but, we think it’s interesting how Hollywood narratives have now thrown Gal Gadot into the “controversy”. This had nothing to do with their main character ripping the original story to shreds. This had nothing to do with Rachel Zegler’s “F-Trump”, post-election rants:

The “smaller scale” premiere is nothing but damage control. We can’t have mini-AOC running her big mouth or risk obvious ongoing tension between her Israeli, (beautiful, smart and arguably, more talented) co-star. But, remember when the liberals buzzed about Trump moving his Inauguration inside? It was because “not enough people were going to show up”. It was because (Trump) “fears small crowds“. Still the projections for the movie at the box office look surprisingly good:

Snow White likely debuting at $50 million to $56 million domestically, according to a leading tracking service. If it comes on the high end, that would be somewhat on par with the Cinderella remake, which opened to $67 million in 2015. But an exhibitor source worried that unless there’s a late-breaking surge of moviegoer interest, the opening might be more in line with Dumbo’s $45 million debut in 2019.”–The Hollywood Reporter

Only time will tell. “Dumbo II” may have been a better title. What happens when you give Snow White the Bud Light treatment? Yellow snow. We know what Frank Zappa said about that. Save your money, don’t go to the show…
