Serial Murderer One Vote Shy of Release

Serial Murderer One Vote Shy of Release

Do you know what kind of criminals are being releasing into your neighborhood? Consider that convicted serial murderer, Gary Ridgway, the infamous Green River Killer, only remains bars for now because of a 5-4 Washington State Supreme Court ruling.

Coronavirus causes insanity in the courtroom

How did we get to the place where state officials, including governors and courts, have put the safety of citizens – already on house arrest – at jeopardy by releasing the worst of the worst? We aren’t talking about kicking loose “low-level” offenders (believe me, something the court considers low-level might shock you, but that’s a discussion for another day) but some really bad dudes.

Columbia Legal Services asked the state’s highest court to force Inslee and Department of Corrections Secretary Stephen Sinclair to reduce crowded situations it says make social distancing now impossible.

The response to the lawsuit by the state Office of the Attorney General notes that the request doesn’t account for severity of crimes. It contends that what the lawsuit seeks could result in the release of almost 12,000 inmates, possibly even “Green River Killer” Gary Ridgway and Isaac Zamora, who killed six people and injured four others in a shooting spree in Skagit County in 2008.

Now why would the worst serial murderer in the United States be eligible for release least his worthless, inhuman carcass be threatened by the Wuhan Bat Flu Cooties? Because he over 50 years old and isn’t on death row.

Isn’t that special? Serial murderer Ridgway’s 71 victims couldn’t be reached for comment.

Today’s word is “recidivism”

This great push to empty prisons and jails of convicted criminals cuz VIRUS! is producing some headdesk-worthy comments from elected officials who really should know better. New York City’s Mayor Bill de Blasio Bolshevik was shocked, shocked I tell you, to discover criminals commit crime.

It is “unconscionable” that Rikers Island inmates who were released due to coronavirus concerns are committing new crimes, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Monday.

“I think it’s unconscionable just on a human level that folks were shown mercy and this is what some of them have done,”

I’m sure the victims of the honorable mayor are sympathetic with his surprise. Who could have guessed?

ACLU, another enemy of The People

CA Governor Hairgel Newsom has already released 3500 criminals from state prison but that’s not good enough for some people.

The American Civil Liberties Union filed a pair of lawsuits late Friday calling for a dramatic reduction in California’s incarcerated population and a halt to all transfers of inmates to federal immigration detention centers amid increasing signs throughout the U.S. that jails and prisons are hot zones for the spread of the coronavirus. […]

Transfers from California prisons and jails now represent the “primary source of ICE’s new bookings” in the state, according to the suit, which argues that federal and state law do not obligate transfers to ICE. California’s sanctuary state law severely limits the number of detainees who can be turned over to ICE from California jails and prisons.

The American Criminal Liars Union is not just arguing to let more (and dangerous) criminals out of state prison, but they want the criminal illegal aliens currently serving sentences released into the public. Do you understand? The United States is not to be allowed to even hold illegal aliens who are criminal convicts.

It should be noted that due to California’s criminal-coddling Democrats, since 2011 we have had AB109 Prison Realignment and Props 47 and 57 which have effectively decriminalized a lot of property and drug crimes and shoved to the counties the responsibility of jailing and supervising a whole number of criminals that would have been eligible for state prison. This is resulting in the release from the county jail system of dangerous people.

Maybe Not a serial murderer this time, but sex offenders among the released

Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer on Tuesday issued a warning to residents after seven registered sex offenders who he said were “high-risk” were recently released from custody early, amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Spitzer said the convicted men spent “just days” in jail instead of the six months required by law for those registered as sex offenders.

Go read the whole thing to learn that each of these sex offenders have long rap sheets and, if not for AB109, their violation of probation acts would have seen them remanded to state prison.

This isn’t all just insanity brought on by irrational fear of coronavirus, this is turning into a full-court press by Leftists to shove through their anti-American policies by not allowing a crisis go to waste.

As you sit at home under house arrest, threatened with arrest or citation if you defy extra-Constitutional stay-at-home orders, remember this about your local Ruling Class:

“It will come to pass that those who are merciful to the cruel will end up being cruel to the merciful.” ~~ The Midrash

Liberals decide to release prisoners back into society in the interest of keeping them safe from disease. Then… they wonder why gun sales are up, especially for first-time buyers. Brilliant.

Not a wonder at all. This is a deliberate act of war by totalitarians against the American people.
They are creating a crisis level crime wave so that they can use the fear of crime that they engender to force our people to accept even further attacks on our civil rights and protections.
We can not depend on most of our police forces to refrain from enforcing unconstitutional edicts.
In the enforcement of executive orders as if they were laws, (mostly blue city) police have shown that their loyalty is to their pay and pensions, and that they will try again to get by with “befel ist befel”, which was proven wrong at Nuremburg.

This is a prime example of why there are firm and principled advocates for the death penalty: “I know it may cost more, but the additional cost is an insurance payment against a future irresponsible government.”

  • Grim Leaper says:

I’m against the so-called death penalty as a government policy, but one is nonetheless put in mind of the unofficial death squads found in other countries such as the Philippines. The Green River Killer and others might find themselves greeted with far less than ordinary courtesy should they be somehow released by eye-spinning crazies on the left.

  • GWB says:

Because he over 50 years old and isn’t on death row.
So, stick him in solitary so he is safely distanced. Problem solved.
Of course, if the sick commie bastards in Washington gov’t had actually given him the death penalty, they wouldn’t be in this conundrum.

“I think it’s unconscionable just on a human level that folks were shown mercy and this is what some of them have done,”
The bad part is, I don’t know which is worse: that he believes this, or that he could be so dead to conscience that he would lie.

instead of the six months required by law (emphasis added)
On what basis are they allowed to preempt the LAW? I’m thinking there needs to be a police officer showing up at someone’s office door and throwing them into a matching set of metal bracelets and taking themn for a ride. Seriously WTF, California? And no one sees this as a violation of Article IV, Section 4?

In a just world, there would be empty shelves in Home Depot instead of the supermarket – it would be rope out of stock, instead of toilet paper.

  • Doug Jones says:

Ah, the American Criminal Liberties Union living down to its unofficial name.
