The Democrat Party has always been the party of racism and segregation. That party has always been divisive. I get lectured all the time by black folks and young white women that the Republican party is the party of racism, segregation, and division, but they just don’t know their own history or present. Exhibit One is that New York University has announced that they will have “black only dormitory housing” for the Fall 2021 semester. Separate but equal is back.
I know you are shocked, right. For those of us who have actually read history, we know that the Supreme Court case Brown v. Board of Education ended “separate but equal”. Well, not really, because the Democrat led welfare plans keep minorities in housing with bad schools, but on paper it was gone. Now, black students at the very prestigious and private New York have demanded segregated dorms.
The best reporting on this new segregation has been done by the World Socialist Web Site. This website is produced by the Fourth International, Trotskyists who are devoted to the destruction of global capitalism and the formation of global socialism. Well, we cannot rely on the mainstream news organizations so we have to get the truth from somewhere. From the article:
A little over two months ago, a recently-organized advocacy group called Black Violets created an online petition demanding that the university “implement Black student housing on campus in the vein of themed engagement floors across first-year and upperclassmen residence halls.” In their petition, the group argues that “Too often in the classroom and in residential life, black students bear the brunt of educating their uninformed peers about racism.” African American students, they state, desperately require a “safe space” where they can escape from students, staff, and faculty of other races.
There is something that is mind blowing about a school that charges $53,000/year and was founded by NY Senator Albert Gallatin in 1831 with the expressed idea of being non-denominational, and open to all classes. In New York City, the most international of American cities? These Black Violets find they need a safe-space from the ignorance of all other races?
In 1963, Governor George Wallace (D-AL) proclaimed “Segregation Now, Segregation Forever”. He was rightly, then, branded a racist. He was just six decades too early. Time is a flat circle, indeed.
Yesterday, Sky News Australia had a good laugh at NYU, and other idiots, in their Wackademia block:
NYU alumni Zaid Jilani is not amused:
When your worldview is really that what's right depends on who's doing it rather than "wrong is wrong no matter who does it or who says it" (malcolm x) pic.twitter.com/I2GZYkFPr5

I am going to give the World Socialist Web Site the last main paragraph in this piece because the writer is dead, cold, solid gold right:
The vile argument advanced in the proposal is that all non-African American students, staff, and faculty are, to varying degrees, hostile and dangerous towards African American students. Their animosity stems from an inherent antipathy towards individuals of different races. Therefore, to end discrimination and ensure true equality within the university, African Americans must completely separate themselves from the rest of the community and “train” non-African Americans to overcome their intrinsic racism.
This irrational and anti-scientific ideology lies at the heart of similar proposals made at several major academic institutions across the country in recent years.
I lay all of this at the door of the Democrats because this has been their modus operandi for 200 years and I can pretty much guarantee that there are no Republicans in any of the the groups promoting racism and segregation.

To be followed by separate water fountains, restrooms, gym facilities, and, finally, classrooms. At the insistance of black students, no doubt.
…insistence…
New York University is just following the segregation practiced by UCLA Santa Cruz for quite a few years.

You will be AMAZED!
Wow, some serious mental illness / virtue signalling going on there…
Why stop at the dorms? Since this is such a great idea, why not extend it to all parts of the university? Why should Black students have to suffer through White led instruction or have to endure reading literature, history, science, or math, etc… written, studied, or performed by Whites? Why should they be beholding to any policy of the university that was handed down by Whites in the administration, for instance? I think they’re really on to something here.
“Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever!”
George Wallace or NYU? You decide!
New York University has announced that they will have “black only dormitory housing”
That’s the way it was reported, initially.
But….
“NYU does not have and will not create student housing that excludes any student based on race,” John Beckman, a spokesperson for the university, told Reason.
The (even watered-down, as the activists try to do in the Reason article) idea that black people can only feel comfortable among other blacks is a pernicious racist idea.
Wow! I didn’t know that Hendrik Verwoerd was a Democrat!
