Sam Brinton certainly has a baggage problem. He has been arrested for the third time for waltzing off with luggage that is not his own.
The former Biden administration nuclear energy official Sam Brinton has been arrested for stealing women’s clothes at an airport – again.
Brinton was picked up at home in Maryland last night and was taken to the Montgomery County Detention Center, where they remained overnight and this morning.
The charges relate to an alleged theft of property at Reagan National Airport that was reported to police in February, after Brinton had been arrested in Nevada and Minnesota on similar charges.
Except that, due to a judge’s lenience, the baggage klepto managed to skate with zero jail time in the Nevada and Minnesota cases.
According to Clark County, Nevada, criminal court records, Brinton was ordered to pay $3,670.74 to the victim in the case and $500 in additional fees including a criminal fine. Clark County Judge Ann Zimmerman then handed Brinton a 180-day suspended jail sentence, a sentence that doesn’t need to be served, and ordered Brinton to “stay out of trouble.”
That’s not even a pat on the wrist. That’s a wink, nod, and ‘have a nice day!’ sentence! Well, Sam Brinton may have stayed out of trouble these last few months but his prior troubles evidently followed him. If the reports are accurate, he was arrested for stealing a fashion designer’s clothes back in 2018!!
As she noted via Twitter in trying to bring further attention to her case, Brinton was wearing her designs at very public events, albeit either backwards or not how they were designed to be worn. She had reported this information to the Houston Police in December 2022. Pretty blatant to wear her designs at high profile public events and not think your theft won’t come back to haunt you!

As we’ve pointed out far too many times, the Biden Administration is chock full of clowns. Not only that, but they not only don’t know how to show up for work and when there speak in painful word salads (Kamala), put Rachel Levine in a cabinet position, disappear for months (Pete Buttigieg), we have people in key positions that are major security risks.
Sam Brinton may decide to parade around in heels and glow-in-the-dark lipstick, but his job required a major security clearance. So the question is, by hiring Sam Brinton to check all the woke progressive narrative boxes, who within the DOE ignored the fact that Brinton’s baggage klepto issues made him a national security risk!
Yet now, once again, Sam’s baggage problems are coming back to haunt him.

Prior to this arrest, Brinton was let off on bail and given court dates. Not this time. As the Daily Wire reports, there wasn’t anyone there to support Sam Brinton during his court hearing. Presumably that means his husband wasn’t there either. Moreover, despite his earnings, Brinton only had a public defender representing him!
“Mr. Brinton is a nuclear engineer, he is married,” the public defender said. “He works for GeoFission, a nuclear startup. He believes if he is released to turn himself in [to Virginia], he can keep his job… I believe the allegation is stolen luggage.”
Del Pino said “I will deny the request to turn himself in. Virginia will pick him up. Good luck in Virginia, Mr. Brinton.”
It’s not just that Sam Brinton has a baggage problem, it’s that he’s been found guilty of being a THIEF. And now he’s facing additional charges and up to 20 years in jail.
Again, this is a guy who spent more time promoting himself and his woke agenda, while wearing stolen clothes, instead of doing his job at the Office of Nuclear Energy dealing with the issues of spent nuclear waste and fuel.
These kinds of theft issues aren’t easy to hide. I just can’t believe that somehow Brinton’s baggage klepto issues didn’t escape notice during the security clearance process and background checks!
By the way, Sam Brinton may have declared himself as “non-binary” but I refuse to play that game. Others have the same idea.

Sam Brinton is facing some serious charges due to his baggage issues. The Biden Administration hired him because he ticked all the progressive boxes. Who knows what kind of havoc Brinton would’ve caused if he was still working at the DOE??!! I shudder to think.

I stand by my thoughts on this. Whoever was looking over this man’s paperwork was told from someone very high up “He will get a clearance.” Because having a they/them with a high profile job was very important to this administration.
Bucky says: Since Brinton is a member of a “protected class” (mentally ill Democrat) he gets special treatment. It’s not like he went to DC on Jan 6 to sight see.

I suspect he needs the luggage to transport orphans to an undisclosed location in his white van.
