As much as we look to America’s southern border where the Left declares we have no right to sovereignty, maybe we should not ignore what comes out of the north.
When a young anthropologist claimed in late May 2021 that she had discovered 215 unmarked graves near the Kamloops Residential School in British Columbia, a wave of horror swept across Canada. (snip)
The anthropologist, Sarah Beaulieu, scanned the orchard using ground-penetrating radar. She found 215 areas which showed soil disturbance that could be indicative of graves (or other excavations). Later on she revised the number down to 200 because stones, metal content and roots indicated other possible causes. However, she admitted nothing could be concluded until excavations and forensic investigation were carried out.
Yet no excavations were carried out. And none are planned
Yet the usual suspects seized on the initial report to engage in some egregious anti-white, anti-Christian narratives that lead to, not just public self-flagellation by pale Canadians including the flying of flags at half staff, but a series of targeted vandalism, arson and desecration of 65 churches took place. Canadian politicians didn’t really care … they figured genocidal Christianity deserved it.

We see time and again that the Left’s march through academia and its capture of public education has turned institutions of learning into madrassas of “social justice”. Whether it is schools openly defying orders to drop mask mandates to instructing teachers on how to keep CRT indoctrination secret from parents, parents are fighting back. Sometimes with lawsuits.
A California mother is taking legal action against a school district, claiming that two teachers secretly manipulated her 11-year-old daughter into believing she was a transgender boy. (snip)
Konen also claims that Caldeira and Baraki – who ran the school’s ‘You Be You’ equality club – provided information for her daughter on how to bind her breasts to stop them developing. She says the school kept her in the dark about what was going on until a December 2019 meeting.
After schools closed and went remote during COVID in March 2020, Konen says her daughter, who has not been named, was once again happy to identify as a girl when away from the influence of the teachers and school bosses she is now on the verge of suing.
If one good thing has come out of the FUBAR of Zoom classrooms, it was giving parents a ringside seat of what was actually going on in the classroom.
No wonder teachers’ unions are up-in-arms over any proposal to place cameras in the classrooms.
