Oregon: Lawmakers React To 9th Circuit Court Ruling

Just yesterday, the 9th Circuit Court delivered a win for the Trump Administration and ruled to allow National Guard troops deployed to Portland, Oregon. Right on cue, the Democrats of Oregon are losing it.

Governor, Tina Kotek:

Oregon remains united in the fight against this unwanted, unneeded military intervention in Oregon. We will continue to show up for our neighbors, make our voices heard, and use our collective power to protect communities and our democracy.

Over the weekend, people across Oregon gathered peacefully to send a message that the Trump Administration is being dishonest, and these actions to deploy troops are a gross, unamerican abuse of power.”-Tina Kotek

Years ago, Oregonians experienced unwanted riots that bashed in the storefronts of their businesses. Oregonians dealt with trash and defecating in the streets by drug addicts after small amounts of illegal (and dangerous and deadly) drugs were decriminalized. Yeah, you really did “show up” for our neighbors, Tina.

And, “peacefully sending a message”? Yes, the below clip is from the Chicago No Kings protest but…come on, man:

Talk about gross and un-American. She’s nasty. And, through Chicago’s Teacher’s Union, she’ll get placed on a paid leave just in time for the holidays. The life, the joy, THE LOVE on the streets of our cities!

And let’s talk about the “mostly peaceful” signs at these events. Just this past weekend, a friend of mine went with his girlfriend to a restaurant in a nearby suburb of Seattle. His family was a non-Muslim family living in oppressed Iran. Sure, he saw families with small children at these protests but you know what he also saw? Signs. “Kill Trump”, “Naked babies in handcuffs”, to name a few, specifically. Deliberate jubilance, I think is what MSN said…

Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield:

Members of the Oregon National Guard are our neighbors, family members, and friends. Their safety is important. As a community, we need to come together and help make sure they are sent home as soon as possible. That means keeping Portland peaceful and safe while our fight in the court moves forward.”-Dan Rayfield

Maybe you can talk to your buddies in Antifa about those Molotov cocktails of theirs, Dan? Oh, wait. Right. They are ALL Antifa now. Watch out for that “mostly peaceful” guy in the chicken suit…

Portland Mayor Keith Wilson:

Portland stands for democracy, dignity, and the right to peacefully protest. Our focus is simple and unchanging: we demand transparency, accountability, and community-led solutions, not troops on our streets. Our National Guard members are our neighbors, coworkers, and loved ones, and they deserve better than this unnecessary, unwanted deployment.”-Keith Wilson

Keith? You suck at your job. Your city has been “a disaster waiting to happen” for years-overrun with homeless, drug-addicts, tents and trash. Portland is not a safe city anymore. You can dress it up any way you all want it, but the underbelly of corruption is visible to any seeing eye and discerning view. The liberals in Portland would rather roll around and wallow in their trash and misery just one block away from their favorite brunch spot. Fun-loving hippies who ignore the stench of trash, human elimination, pot and fentanyl just around the corner.

U.S. Rep. Maxine Dexter (OR-03) and folk-singer extraordinaire:

Portland is a peaceful, kind, and loving place. Today’s ruling, if allowed to stand, does not change that.

Trump wants to incite violence and chaos. Portland sees this authoritarian takeover for what it is, and we will not bend the knee.

We will remain united. We will meet this moment the way we’ve met every challenge — with care, courage, and an unwavering commitment to protecting our neighbors.”-Maxine Dexter

I feel some spoken word coming on…

Oregon House Majority Leader Ben Bowman:

Portland is moving in the right direction. Sadly, the Trump Administration is actively making things harder for local leaders. The idea that there is a ‘threat of rebellion’ from a smattering of inflatable frogs and chicken costumes is laughable.”-Ben Bowman

Trump would not have made it harder for local leaders if they worked with him in the first place. And, yes, Bowman, does have a point. Inflatable frogs and chicken costumes are laughable but remove the chicken and frog costumes and what do you get? Yep, they are still laughable. The idiots in them are unknowingly facilitating and encouraging a more violent current to develop from within. What do most of them care? They are old and en route to collecting their pensions or already collecting on retirement or disability. Who cares if they trash the country because they won’t be around in another 50 years? Remember: they don’t talk to their grandkids. Why would they give a sh#t?

My friend said it best yesterday. Take all of these people in their ridiculous costumes and ship them to Iran for a day. Or Gaza. They don’t know how good they have it. Let’s see their Jubilant Joy when they return to America after their visit.

These politicians were all put in by the very people attending the “no kings” demonstrations. Ergo, Portland is getting what they voted for. The only bad thing about that is that there are people stuck with it. Sure, they could pull roots and get out but there are some that, for various reasons, either can’t or will not.

It is not just Portland, but Eugene/Springfield, Bend, and I think Medford.

“Remember: they don’t talk to their grandkids.”

That’s because they don’t have kids either, so no grandkids to talk to.
