It’s called “Operation Protective Edge”. Israelis are defending themselves against the barrage of rockets and missiles fired on them by Hamas terrorists hell bent on the destruction of Israel and all Israelis. Tuesday, the 8th of July the IDF launched its campaign to end the Hamas rain of terror which they believe is mostly sponsored by Iran.
Hamas leaders are a cowardly bunch, and have no compunction when it comes to hiding themselves behind women and children which is why, in death tolls, you will oft times see that women and children are among the dead as well. Hamas also put their rockets and missiles atop of schools, Mosques, and apartment buildings. The bastards are using human shields. The short clip below is a leader bragging just how far they will go to use women, children and the elderly as their shields.
In contrast, a teacher had composed and taught to hundreds of schoolchildren within Hamas rocket firing range a wonderful song to help calm them when the sirens blare warning of incoming destruction.

Shachar Bar, an art therapist who teaches in Sderot, became increasingly alarmed after seeing the thousands of children of the western Negev suffering the cumulative effects of trauma due to the ongoing barrage of Kassam rockets from Gazan Palestinians. Teachers reported the fear and panic being heightened each time the recorded alert “Color Red” sounded, giving students 15 second to run for cover.
The IDF targeting Hamas leaders has led them to turn off the water and electricity in their respective homes. Yes, their water and electricity. Apparently Judea and Samaria’s water and electricity is reliant on Israel. As the Palestinians occupied and renamed Gaza, they also refused to pay their bill. It would have been inhumane for Israel to turn off the water and electricity. Had the tables been turned, what do you suppose would have happened?
As Assad in Syria continues to kill his people and the many different factions of rebels try to fight back, and as Iraq implodes and ISIS grows ever stronger looking towards Jordan, Iran innocently asks for many more centrifuges than it could possibly need for a ‘peaceful’ nuclear program. All, of course, have vowed death to Israel. Is it any wonder they are finally fighting back?
Oh, and by the way. Palestine tries to play the oh poor me, look at us, we are so innocent BS all the time. Well, the BBC, which is usually on their side caught them in the act of the lie.

I agree, Xavier. At one time I was somewhat sympathetic towards the women, until they passed out candy and danced in the streets upon news of the deaths of the 3 kidnapped Israeli teenage boys last week.
Amen, amen. One of my favorite stories about Israel is the Wrath of God operation. People like to focus on Lillehammer, but there was a LOT before that (plus Operation Spring of Youth as well). It enraged me when they made the movie Munich. Those Israelis did not have “crises of conscience.” They did not “struggle” because the terrorists were “just like them.” Israel’s Mossad has a long memory, and they are the best in the world at what they do.
I hope Israel obliterates those animals. As far back as the 1970s, the PLO leadership admitted there’s no such thing as a “Palestinian.” They made it up for political purposes. For their agenda. Just wipe them out.

And then I look to Kelley’s description and see “a small business owner and catechism teacher”. Of COURSE she’s a catechism teacher… we know how Jesus advocated for the genocide of an entire people, right?
Seriously? WE’RE sick? Video after video available freely on the internet shows you what these people are not only capable of, but what they LOVE to do. They live for it. They revel in the blood and gore. And yet you defend them…why? Out of some misguided humanitarianism? Don’t worry. They’re coming in the southern border. It’s open now, you know, because of another “humanitarian crisis.” So, when they get here, you can put them up at your house. They’re really just misunderstood though, right? You’re part of the problem.

Try holding yourselves to a higher standard for once. Your enemies may want you dead, but you are no better than them when you stoop to their level.
John Demint says: And for the record, I’m not defending anybody here. But if someone is going to claim to be a Christian, at least act like it. If you are still going to talk about wiping them off the face of the earth, I think it’s time to reevaluate which faith you are a part of.

Yes, I am Christian and a Catechism teacher. Our Christian faith has its roots in Judaism.
I will not submit to an ideology (Islam) just to survive. I will fight for what I believe in and if that means taking up arms against the enemy, then I will.
I have no need to reevaluate my faith.

Chris in N.Va. says: Hearkens back to elementary school days wherein a little local brat would hit one of us and, whenever we dared strike back, he’d go running to Mommy who would unleash her fury against us for daring (daring I say!) to raise a hand against her pure-as-the-driven-snow, innocent little darling, whereupon she’d wail to our own mothers who would scold us in turn, urging us to be nicer to him since the poor boy didn’t have a nice family situation.
Speaking of snow….
One day in the winter this Little Gentleman roughly pushed a little girl (at least a year or two longer than us) into a snowbank as a group of us were walking to school. As he was laughing and admiring his courageous toughness the little girl got up and proceeded to deliver a furious pounding to the little ruffian, eventually sitting on his chest and rubbing snow all over his face while he screamed in vain for Mommy (by this time 5 or six blocks away).
Bottom line — we never had any more problems from L’Enfant Terrible. The wolf formerly preying upon the sheep was now the meekest of little lambs himself.

Thank you, Catherine. Hamas will put children on targeted sites just for that purpose. Israel drops leaflets warning the populace of incoming explosives so innocents can get out of the way. When there are casualties they gather them up and take them to the Israeli border to be taken to the hospitals there in Israel. Israel takes care of the Gaza wounded. They are also providing food and water for the Gazans. The Islamist would never do this in turn.
