While the real unemployment rate for American citizens hovers around eighteen percent, and our veterans continue to be jacked around by the VA, the Obama Administration is making sure that citizens of foreign countries illegally crossing our borders have everything they need. And that “need” includes the following, provided for the invaders “residents” at the newly-renovated 29-acre detention resident center in Karnes City, Texas:
This is the new “humane.” But what the Obama Administration calls “humane,” I call reckless abuse of the taxpaying citizenry. And no, it doesn’t look like the “residents” will be working to help offset the taxpayer-provided services, many of which are far from “necessities,” but will be earning taxpayer-provided money in addition to all the freebies provided by you and I, without our consent.
All at a cost of $74,000. Per day. On our dime.
Sounds exactly like what those who are serving our country in hostile nations are receiving, right? Or the poorest of the poor, or those who come here the respectful, legal way? Not exactly…
“Previously, the people being held at the facility were called detainees. Now they will be called residents. Guards are now called resident advisors. Even the facility itself will be referred to as a resident center rather than a detention center.
The center, which previously held male illegal aliens being detained by ICE, will be contracted to hold illegal alien families comprised of women and children to help handle the ongoing flood of illegal aliens mostly from Central America crossing the Texas-Mexico border. The federal government contracted with Karnes County which in turn contracts out to The Geo Group to run the facility.
The amenities do not stop simply at safe. Families will be given a health examination upon arrival along with six sets of fresh clothing for each member. Doctor attention will be available at all times and residents will have access to a dentist. Even the walls of the center have been painted with many colorful characters and pictures as many children are expected to call it home.”
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not without compassion, and I understand that this facility will reportedly house women and children. But they should be given only what they need immediately and then returned home stat. Because if this isn’t a slap-in-the-face to every American working her tail off to pay taxes to a federal agency that routinely targets Americans it dislikes politically, many of us struggling every day to make ends meet in this “new economy,” nothing is.
Scores of Conservative voices managed to quash an immigration bill, sans any mention of DACA, Speaker John Boehner had planned to bring to the House floor for a vote yesterday afternoon that would have reportedly made the invasion of our nation markedly worse, the obvious questions being, did they read it and are therefore complicit? Or are they simply as irresponsible as their Democrat counterparts and want to pass something, anything, so they can “find out what’s in it” later, when the numbers of illegals have increased a hundredfold? Whatever the answer, there is no doubt that the Establishment GOP and their Democrat co-conspirators will continue their attempts to aid the Obama Administration’s lawlessness one way or another.
“In the Speaker’s lobby just off the House floor, members of Congress were full of recriminations over how the border bill had just died—until it sprang back to life…
In the meeting, most Republicans expressed support for figuring out some way – any way – to pass a bill that is widely expected to go nowhere but was hoped to give the GOP a political advantage over the recess.”
Voila. Zombie Bill resurrected.
Thankfully, we have a few voices of reason who continue to fight for We the People, whose numbers we need to grow come November. Should we fail, the invasion of our nation, with all that comes with it—violent gang members, criminals, terrorists, serious infectious diseases to name a few—will continue, at breakneck speed, with more and more illegals continuing to shamelessly suck up our already-stressed resources thanks to the welcome mat laid out for them by our own federal government.
Keep lighting up the phone lines. Enough is enough.
And to think that dear LEGAL immigrant H1-visa friends of ours with two school-aged kids are working hard to make ends meet (well, one of them, at least — our “here-to-help” guvvie bureauweenies have misdirected the paperwork on the spouse who, 10-11 months later, is STILL waiting for THAT “cluster&^#” to resolve, until which she can’t even get a driver’s license!). These law-abiding (naive?) folks are eager to obtain U.S. citizenship, going through the EXPENSIVE and lengthy byzantine paperwork labyrinth, dearly loving this country and the freedoms we offer, compared to the increasingly-socialist government where they came from.
Look at what they’re missing because they chose to play by the rules, wanting to assimilate into our culture, the poor silly gooses!!
But meanwhile in CO – they don’t hafta play by the rules!!
Can anyone tell me what word is missing from the headlines?
And then there is this story…
**in the above story there are some very interesting items that are now public. A. schools are not allowed to ask how many will show up there. So budgets and resources already in place are a moot point and basically going to be stretched thin to snapping because I’d bet the schools won’t be allowed to say ‘no more’ B. note the countries mentioned where the kids are coming from
Indeed. ^^^
And Israelis, who are actually fleeing war, are reportedly being denied visas. If they could just get to Central America… *face palm*
