New details are emerging that the man who beheaded a woman, and attempted to kill a second woman, at Vaughan Foods, a food distribution plant in Moore, Oklahoma, is—SURPRISE!—a recent convert to Islam. The man, 30-year-old Alton Nolen, who was recently fired from a second plant location, was reportedly also attempting to convert other coworkers. He was stopped before beheading the second woman by an off-duty officer. Both the victim and the attacker are reportedly in critical condition. Chock one up for concealed carry.

“The FBI is now looking into Nolen’s background after his former co-workers said he tried to convert them to Islam after recently converting himself.

Lewis says the FBI is working in conjunction with the Moore Police Department, especially when it comes to the religious aspect of the case.

At this time, it is not known if the suspect’s beliefs played a role in the attack.”

I think we can safely say that there is one particular “religion” that regularly beheads those it views as “infidels.”

Is anyone really surprised by this? We’ve become a nation cowering in political correctness. Too many of us are afraid to address the fact that Islam, if it ever was a “religion of peace,” has been hijacked by fundamentalists, and those of us remaining silent fear being painted “Islamophobic.” We must somehow “tolerate” this rabidity as it consumes Christians across the Middle East, and threatens to do so in the West. While Barack Obama, John Kerry, John McCain and the other apologists continue on their “Islam is the Religion of Peace” tour, insisting the carnage it leaves in its wake has nothing to do with Islam, we can expect to see more and more brutal deaths of American citizens at the emboldened altar of Islam. It’s time we start calling its current form what it really is: A Death Cult.

UPDATE [11:20 am] The Daily Caller is reporting that the perpetrator, and here’s another shocker, has a Muslim tattoo on his chest reading ““AS-SALAAMU ATAIKUM,” or “peace be upon you.” He also has an extensive rap sheet.

UPDATE [12:50 pm] The beheading is being classified by local authorities as, wait for it…workplace violence.

UPDATE [1:05pm] FOX News is reporting the suspect was shouting “Islamic phrases” as he attacked the two women.

UPDATE [6:15pm] Reports are coming in that the suspect had Anti-American posts and images on his FaceBook page, including the burning twin towers. From Breitbart:

[Reporters] confirmed that they had seen posts stating “America and Israel are wicked, wake up Muslims,” and one with a picture of the Statue of Liberty that said “land of the free” meant “free from the God Allah, [and the] laws of the Bible” in addition to quotations from Deuteronomy and Leviticus.  Jensen stated that the page “does look like” the page belongs to Nolen and that “from as far as what we can tell” the posts come from Nolen’s page.
