Obama is really on a roll. This time he’s flipping the bird to anyone and everyone who has and is serving in the U.S. Military.

President Obama on Tuesday largely commuted the remaining prison sentence of Chelsea Manning, the army intelligence analyst convicted of an enormous 2010 leak that revealed American military and diplomatic activities across the world, disrupted the administration, and made WikiLeaks, the recipient of those disclosures, famous.

The decision by Mr. Obama rescued Ms. Manning, who twice tried to commit suicide last year, from an uncertain future as a transgender woman incarcerated at the male military prison at Fort Leavenworth, Kan. She has been jailed for nearly seven years, and her 35-year sentence was by far the longest punishment ever imposed in the United States for a leak conviction.

Here’s the deal. Manning, no matter how remorseful, put lives at risk by stealing and leaking the information he/she did. The information came from military incident logs (hundreds of them) out of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, cables from embassies around the world, intel assessments on GITMO detainees and more! This wasn’t small stuff and once the leaks became known I know it was a mad scramble to reassess, realign, and ensure those exposed were safe.

Manning jeopardized more than we know. I don’t care about the excuses proffered. I don’t care that it was supposedly to start a world wide discussion about keeping secrets. I don’t care that it was because Manning was a confused person who couldn’t decide which sex to be. The fact is this. Manning violated oaths, put our country at risk, and is a TRAITOR. Period.

For Obama to commute Manning’s sentence down to essentially time served is one big FU to all members of our military who have and do serve with honor and would never ever dream of doing what Manning did.

“[He is] an extremely left-wing ideologue… [and is] showing himself to be anti-law-and-order and… anti-military,” Stein said.

Who is next on his commutation and pardon spree? Snowden? Bergdahl? Lets hope neither. But the fact is, those with blinders on are now seeing Obama’s hatred of the United States in real time. According to this logic by current POTUS (isn’t he gone yet?) Wikileaks that jeopardize American interests – no big deal. Wikileaks that harms DNC and Hillary – SUPER BAD!!

Based on that “logic,” we can presume that, since Manning gets away scot free, I guess everyone in the military has their marching orders. They too can steal over a half million docs and hand them over to WikiLeaks or the Russians and get away scot free as long as they’re a transgender whose goal is to harm our military, and are in prison when an America-hating POTUS is in the White House.
