We get it. He’s Muslim. He’s an activist for the Muslim community. Noted. But to say members of the “Resistance” should be placed up there with some of the greatest and bravest in our history as a nation? Negative.

And this “apology” sums it all up, folks. “I’m sorry…but I am yet going to tell you how superior my intellect is to yours because you voted for someone I did not approve of”. It could not, for once, be just a genuine apology without the agenda. This is where someone with half a brain and a sense of common decency would forfeit the political divisiveness, the self-serving promotion and just simply say “I am sorry”. These people constantly have to throw a dig in. They can’t help themselves. They have NO restraint and NO bearing. This day is NOT about being butt-hurt about who won or who didn’t win an election almost two years ago. The day is not about ego and who is right and who is wrong. This day in America is certainly not about adults whining like children about what they did not get or about what they feel deprived of upon waking up from slumber in a comfortable bed in a comfortable home. How “comfortable” were our fallen? Did their families and loved ones get what they wanted when all was said and done? I doubt that. This is why we humble ourselves today and remember. And if you’re in the least bit thinking those with patriotism and gratefulness in their hearts who display their colors today profess this as some sort of “guilt trip” with a political agenda, then perhaps you should look inward and examine your soul.
