EVERYONE on the Left has still got their knickers in a knot because a man who was only a soldier is the big cheese in the Pentagon. The Left and he mainstream media will learn soon. Never bow up against Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. He ain’t skeered. We aren’t and, most importantly, neither is President Trump. Yet, the Democrat Media Industrial Complex is still running their tired, old playbook of anonymous sources, smears and innuendo.

This all started when The Left couldn’t kill the Hegseth nomination with all the sick innuendo and he got confirmed. Mysteriously, a known Leftie journalist was added to a Signal group chat and that got outed last month. With the press calling for Hegseth to be dismissed. Jeez, they never give up.

Let’s take a step back before we focus on this latest issue. The Warmongers of the Deep State are not happy that Trump’s team isn’t running willy-nilly into the next World War. The situation is explained in the Raw Story:

“Tulsi Gabbard, Pete Hegseth, J.D. Vance, and Susie Wiles helped shut down Israel/USA joint attack on Iran — NY Times,” wrote Douglass Mackey on X. “This probably explains why three of Hegseth’s aides have now been fired for supposed ‘leaks’ — internal knife fighting is intensifying.”

Mackey previously posted extremist content under the alias “Ricky Vaughn.” He served a brief prison sentence in 2023 over a scheme in 2016 where he tried to trick Black voters out of casting ballots in the presidential election.

“The Times wrote that Israel’s plans for an imminent attack on Iran’s nuclear sites were ‘waved off’ by Trump in favor of more talks after months of internal debate over the best way to tackle the issue,” noted The Beast’s David Gardner. “The discussions highlighted ‘fault lines’ between ‘hawkish’ Trump Cabinet officials and aides skeptical that military action would avoid a larger conflict.”

“Fault lines” between the “hawks” and the ones who have actually deployed. Color me shocked. The three (really four) “leakers”, to no one’s surprise, went right to the press. Classic. What tail did the feral pigs tell, from the AP:

The White House expressed support Monday for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth following media reports that he shared sensitive military details in another Signal messaging chat, this time with his wife and brother.

Neither the White House nor Hegseth denied that he had shared such details in a second chat, blaming what they called disgruntled employees and the media and claiming no classified information was shared.

“The president stands strongly behind Secretary Hegseth, who is doing a phenomenal job leading the Pentagon,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Monday. “And this is what happens when the entire Pentagon is working against you and working against the monumental change that you are trying to implement.”

So, get this, a NY Times reporter went on MSNBC’s Morning Joe to talk about the revelations and how (today’s secret word is) “chaotic” the Pentagon is:

It’s been a month of total chaos at the Pentagon. From leaks of sensitive operational plans to mass firings, the dysfunction is now a major distraction for the president — who deserves better from his senior leadership.

President Donald Trump has a strong record of holding his top officials to account. Given that, it’s hard to see Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth remaining in his role for much longer.

The latest flashpoint is a near collapse inside the Pentagon’s top ranks. On Friday, Hegseth fired three of his most loyal senior staffers — senior adviser Dan Caldwell, deputy chief of staff Darin Selnick and Colin Carroll, chief of staff to the deputy secretary of Defense. In the aftermath, Defense Department officials working for Hegseth tried to smear the aides anonymously to reporters, claiming they were fired for leaking sensitive information as part of an investigation ordered earlier this month.

Yet none of this is true. While the department said that it would conduct polygraph tests as part of the probe, not one of the three has been given a lie detector test. In fact, at least one of them has told former colleagues that investigators advised him he was about to be cleared officially of any wrongdoing. Unfortunately, Hegseth’s team has developed a habit of spreading flat-out, easily debunked falsehoods anonymously about their colleagues on their way out the door.

Which is why this guy broke all land speed records getting this Op-Ed up. We question how he got this far without getting caught.

Pete Hegseth hasn’t caused a riot at an airfield with people falling off of the outside of planes, allowed a suicide bomber inside of an airport resulting in 13 deaths and scores more injured OR droned an extended family to death.

If he keeps us out of another war and doesn’t disappear for days, I will consider him a superstar.

Never, ever bow up against Pete, unless you mean to fight.
