National Archives Promotes Structural Racism – Report

An Internal Task Force set up by the National Archives, after the death of George Floyd, has determined that the Rotunda in the the National Archives promotes structural racism and is too kind in its treatment of the Founding Fathers. I don’t usually curse in my posts, but I have to say, “What in the bloody blue Eff is wrong with these people?”

The report from the task force was released on June 14, 2021, and, the last two weeks has received almost no media coverage. You can read the full report here. The Archivist of the United States, David Ferriero, described the task force’s reason for being:

“As the home of this nation’s founding documents—the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights—we have a special responsibility to the ideals that all people are created equal, that all people have equal protection under the law, and that there is a common good that includes us all,” Ferriero said. “Although we as a nation have fallen short at times, these are the goals we aspire to as Americans, for all Americans, and the ideals that drove the work of the task force.”

The employees assigned to the task force to:

to identify issues of racial inequality in both our customer-facing operations and internally within our workplaces, in pursuit of an equitable and inclusive environment for all employees and customers.

The word that came to my mind after reading just this portion was “flagellation”. According to the Cambridge English Dictionary, the definition of flagellation is:

the practice of whipping yourself or someone else, especially as a religious practice, for punishment, or for sexual pleasure.

In this instance of the National Archives, I believe that both definitions apply. The Liberal Faith requires you to punish yourself, and the acolytes derive a sick sexual pleasure from it. Bunch of sick effs.

The beautiful rotunda of the National Archives building is especially problematic. The name of the rotunda is The Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom. Displayed in the rotunda are the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and The Bill of Rights. The walls are decorated with murals:

The National Archives Building’s architect, John Russell Pope, designated space for two large murals in the Rotunda for the Charters of Freedom. These oil-on-canvas paintings were executed by artist Barry Faulkner between 1933 and 1936. Faulkner created allegorical (symbolic or metaphorical) scenes depicting the writing and adoption of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States. These massive murals, each about the size of a city bus (14 feet by 37.5 feet), add life and color to the space.

The bipedal humanoids who wrote those founding documents and are pictured in the murals are – sit down and take a deep breath – White men.

Fox News Channel reported:

The task force’s report also calls for a change to language on OurDocuments.gov — a website on American “milestone documents” such as the Constitution and Declaration of Independence — to be less celebratory of historically impactful Americans, such as former President Thomas Jefferson.

“OurDocuments.gov features transcripts and historical context of ‘100 milestone documents of American history’ but often uses adulatory and excessive language to document the historical contributions of White, wealthy men,” the report reads before taking aim at Jefferson.

“For example, a search of Thomas Jefferson in OurDocuments.gov brings up 24 results. He is described in this sample lesson plan as a ‘visionary’ who took ‘vigorous action’ to strengthen the ‘will of the nation to expand westward,’” the report continues.

“The plan does not mention that his policy of westward expansion forced Native Americans off their ancestral land, encouraged ongoing colonial violence, and laid the groundwork for further atrocities like the Trail of Tears,” it added.

I think that “visionary” is a perfectly underwhelming way to describe that White, wealthy man, Thomas Jefferson. Lowly commoner, Colonist Jefferson wrote of the “long train of abuses and usurpations of King George III. That was visionary, audacious and brave as heck.

All of those White, wealthy men risked it all going after the most powerful military at the time to make a better world for you and me.

Alexander Hamilton, who is still so popular that he is a hit on Broadway today, did write in Federalist One:

It has been frequently remarked that it seems to have been reserved to the people of this country, by their conduct and example, to decide the important question, whether societies of men are really capable or not of establishing good government from reflection and choice, or whether they are forever destined to depend for their political constitutions on accident and force.

That, again is visionary, audacious and brave. Plus, it had never been done before. Quite frankly, people of every color ought to salute those White, wealthy men. Without those men, we would not be us today. We might still be serfs and slaves.

The Preamble to The Constitution reads “towards a more perfect Union”, not that we were conceived in perfection.

We must take back our history from the self-flagellating priests of the Left, before they have erased our history. Or worse, villainized them further. Structural racism, my Aunt Fanny.

It is my belief that Blacks and White marxists have become the most prevalent group of federal employees in Washington DC. This is how this BS gets traction.

Dont bring up George Floyds background a, he’s an American hero. Instead, Let’s dig up ‘dirt’ on real American icons and hero’s and make that the narrative. Sick! They want to kill our country. It’s obvious.

These are NOT the same thing.

These folks really need to be tarred and feathered. Then run out of town on a rail. Preferably until they reach another country. (Sorry, Mexico and Canada, I know you’ve got problems of your own, but….)
