Nashville Mayor Wants Legal On Trans Shooter Manifesto

Since the March 27, 2023, shooting at the Covenant Christian School, many of us have been clamoring for release of the shooter’s writing. Many journals, a suicide note, and a memoir were left by transgender shooter Audry/Aiden Hale. Today, three photocopied pages were obtained by a podcast host and the Nashville Mayor is incensed. Furious. Legal action involving possible local and Federal authorities is being looked into, according to Mayor Freddie O’Connell. If this is beginning to sound like more tangling of the woven web, you are so right.

Without wasting anytime at all to mourn the six victims of the Christian School shooter, the media and opinion writers have blamed various aspects of Tennessee life: Our Governor and open carry and a so called anti-Drag bill. It couldn’t have possibly been a severely mentally ill human. It had to be the gun culture and hatred in Tennessee.

Now, a rational being might think that the dead sicko’s writings might be important for the psychological community to study and for the general public in spotting signs. A month after the shooting, we were told that the writings would not be released completely because they were too disturbing. Which might be a reason they should be released. Check out this article from BizPacReview:

Nashville shooter Audrey Hale’s still-unreleased manifesto will not, when finally released, be in its entirety because of the danger its contents pose, according to Metro Nashville Council Member Courtney Johnston.

“What I was told is, her manifesto was a blueprint on total destruction, and it was so, so detailed at the level of what she had planned,” Johnston told the New York Post after reportedly speaking with the FBI.

“That document in the wrong person’s hands would be astronomically dangerous,” she continued.

She added that “parts” of the manifesto will eventually be released, but stressed that “the vast, overwhelming majority of it” poses too much of a danger to the public.

“I personally don’t want to know the depths to which her psychosis reached … When I’m told by an MNPD high-ranking official that it keeps him up at night, I’m going to defer to that person in that agency that I don’t need to read that,” she said.

If you think that it is protecting sicko psychos to bury the manifesto, you have no ideas about what’s out there on the web, dark or otherwise.

So, the standoff continued until yesterday, when questionable Conservative host Steven Crowder announced he had three pages. We were all skeptical, including Victory Girls’ Carol, who advised caution until it was confirmed:

The Nashville Mayor with his act of instituting an investigation confirmed that the pages of the writings are authentic. From Bonchie at Red State:

Steven Crowder obtained pictures of Hale’s manifesto, and they revealed disturbing new details about her motives. In one instance, she described those she was about to go kill as “little crackers.” In another, she ranted about the supposed “white privilege” (she misspelled the latter word) of the children who attended the Christian school.

In response, Nashville’s Democrat mayor appears to be furious. He immediately demanded an investigation into who leaked the manifesto, claiming that the release threatens the security of “Nashvillians who are grieving.”

Following the leak of the transgender Nashville shooter’s alleged manifesto on Monday morning, Mayor Freddie O’Connell said that the city has launched an investigation into how the images of the writings were released.

“I have directed Wally Dietz, Metro’s Law Director, to initiate an investigation into how these images could have been released. That investigation may involve local, state, and federal authorities. I am deeply concerned with the safety, security, and well-being of the Covenant families and all Nashvillians who are grieving,” O’Connell said in a statement, according to WSMV.

If there was any question about whether the photos released by Crowder were real, this answers them. You don’t start an investigation into the leak of something that doesn’t exist.

Still, it’s odd to see Mayor Freddie O’Connell so upset with the fact that this went public. How does knowing the killer’s state of mind and possible motive put anyone in Nashville at risk? Aubrey Hale is no longer among the living, having been dispatched the day of the shooting.

I can think of several reasons not to release the “manifesto”. The story doesn’t fit the approved narrative. There were so many signs the International Space Station could see them. People might realize how deep the rot is in the system. Or, my favorite, all of the above.

Just to complete the circle, the recently elected Democrat Nashville Mayor looks exactly as you would expect:

I don’t get this father not wanting the pages released. We have learned much from what was released yesterday. I am sorry, but he is quite wrong.

That’s sad. In case you want to see the writing:

Pray for us all.

    Democracy dies in darkness

    — to career Democrat politicians like the Nashville Mayor, this is an instruction, rather than a caution.

  • Cameron says:

If the person who leaked the documents is found, I will throw money at their legal team as will a lot of other people. And the mayor should be censured over this. The only reason to keep her writings hidden was because The Narrative must be protected at all costs.

    three photocopied pages were obtained
I think they were actually pictures of the papers. Sort of like old-timey spies with one of those little cameras we all saw on tv.

If this is beginning to sound like more tangling of the woven web, you are so right.
If this starts to sound like the Pentagon Papers, you could be even righter.

I’m going to defer to that person in that agency that I don’t need to read that
Because you want ‘experts’ to keep you safe, instead of facing evil yourself. “I’ll just defer to the people who claim expertise, and not double-check them on it. I prefer being a sheep.”

If this were the 80s, I might actually agree with those who don’t want the writings released. I don’t think it helps society very much to read the ravings of a psycho. It might very well inspire someone. All of those things.

But the Progressives made that impossible by pushing their ideology so hard and splitting the country. They took control of our institutions and used that power to push the end game of their religion farther – an Islamic approach, with conversion by the sword social media cancellation. They went to war on our society and culture, so it now becomes very important to see those writings in order to judge the ideology which drove her to this insane atrocity.

Our need to see these writings is entirely the result of the Gramscian march through our society – which is their fault, not ours.

I don’t think the general public has a right to see the manifesto. It fits in the category of nice to have information. What are you going to do with the information? How will it change your behavior? If this is what it takes for you to take the appropriate self defense steps then you are way behind the power curve. By their very nature these kind of event are rare and the specific details are unique. You stay safe by staying away from stupid people doing stupid things in stupid places and not by trying predict the unpredictable.

    • Cameron says:

The blatant cover up and outright lies about how “transphobia” drove her to do this is reason enough to release it.

The mayor lied. The cops lied. The press lied. This needed to be out in the open. Let them squirm under the light as they try to justify this.

      • John Shepherd says:

And you need to see the manifesto to know that?

        • Cameron says:

One more time with feeling: “The blatant cover up and outright lies about how “transphobia” drove her to do this is reason enough to release it.”

So yes; the manifesto should be released. Especially when you get a case like Elliot Rodger whose 140+ page manifesto was released before he was even buried. Nobody gave a shit about the families of his victims. So this should not be any different.

    • GWB says:

I need to see the manifesto because I need to point out where it is driven by Progressivism. Because we need to take down that pernicious religion – it will destroy us. Because it actually is somewhat predictable, based on that worldview. (Hint: Another example would be the attacks on Jews lately, which could have been predicted based on the religion of the people involved – either Progressive or Islam.)

If it weren’t for that, I would agree with you. (And I do prepare my own defense; on both the small and large scale. Because, as you say, of exactly this sort of thing.)

      • John Shepherd says:

Hate to break to you but everybody who posts comments here is a nobody with zero influence. That is the basic problem the modern social media environment. A bunch of nobodies think they are somebody because the world can see their ramblings. Just because they can does not mean they will or GAF.

You don’t need the manifesto to point those things out.

        • Scott says:

Must be cool as hell to be all knowing. You don’t know jack shit about any of us that post here, what we do, or who we are. I have zero doubts at all that you are a nobody, but I’m also sure that you are flat out wrong about many of us. Please try to stick to actual facts, r find a nice left wing blog to haunt, they are all about your kind of bullshit.

        • GWB says:

The manifesto is a point of evidence, which rational people use to support their arguments.

And if you think this place and the people writing here have zero influence, what are YOU doing here?

  • john says:

about 18000 Americans died from homicide last year.
Unsure why some feel it necessary to focus on this one. Do they expect that manifesto to trigger an onset of mass murder?
Can you tell me when you thin k this may start?
