California Governor Gavin Newsom has got his speedos in a knot over the state of Tennessee. Not that anyone in the Volunteer State actually cares what that mentally limited politician thinks. He believes that the city of Murfreesboro has passed a law making homosexuality illegal. It is an anti-indecency law. I am confused. Is Mr. Newsom insinuating that homosexuals are incapable of behaving with decency? Of keeping their clothes on? Actually, I wouldn’t put it past him to think that. Let’s look at this law.
Tennessee citizens are partial to their part of the state. I am from East Tennessee and naturally think it is the best, but I am told that Middle Tennesseans feel the same way about Middle Tennessee. Well ugh. Just kidding. Murfreesboro is a city, of about 160,000 people, in the geographical center of the state. And, they have a Whataburger there! The city is clean and the air is fresh. If you crave a bigger city, Nashville is about 40 miles to the Northwest.
Because Gavin Newsom sees himself as the President-in-Waiting, he put out an all-points tweet to alert the world that Murfreesboro doesn’t want indecency in the city:
Gavin Newsom, who as Mayor of San Francisco turned one of the most magnificent cities in the world into an unlivable shithole. He was the elected to Governor of California and is working his way to doing to the state what he did to San Francisco. Over-taxed, few services, drugs, homelessness, streets covered in feces. I forgot the urine. It helps wash away the feces. Gavin Newsom is not the least bit ashamed that he doesn’t care about his citizens and their quality of life.

San Francisco’s hygienic situation is disgusting when it is not cleaned up for the Communist Overlords from China, but the real filth is the Folsom Street Parade where all kink is not just permissible, but expected. This video is NOT SAFE FOR WORK or sensitive eyes:
The Brain Trust at Reddit is also spreading the word about homosexuals and indecency in Murfreesboro.
Murfreesboro TN: Bans indecent exposure, nudity in public, and public sex acts.
Reddit: "They just made being gay illegal!!!"

Newsom and the Redditors all have a very biased view of homosexuality. They believe that homosexuals cannot control themselves and must get indecent and engage in sexual acts and kink at any given moment.
Newsom is a bigot. A bigot about Tennesseans and homosexuals. Except, like the Florida “Don’t Say Gay” bill, it’s all a lie. Did you see the “Community Note” at the bottom of the Newsom tweet:

The linked article refers to an ordinance passed in June 2023. This ordinance prohibits “Sexual conduct” as defined in the city code. At the time the city code did include “homosexuality” in this definition. However, in November 2023 “homosexuality” was removed.

The city did pass a new indecency code, but before they did they removed an old statue that included homosexuality as illegal. From en-volve.com,
Newsom, who is posing as a civil rights defender, even as gay people have the right to civil unions in all states and all the rights that other Americans have, worked over-time to find an obscure story from the New Republic that left many readers scratching their heads.
“A city in Tennessee has banned being gay in public,” Newsom claimed.
“This is just the beginning. We have to call this out,” he added, ominously.
The New Republic story provides details that strike a bewildering juxtaposition to the startling claim a city has banned being “gay” in public.
Murfreesboro passed an ordinance in June banning “indecent behavior,” including “indecent exposure, public indecency, lewd behavior, nudity or sexual conduct.” As journalist Erin Reed first reported, this ordinance specifically mentions Section 21-72 of the city code. The city code states that sexual conduct includes homosexuality.
Anyone who violates the new ordinance is barred from hosting public events or selling goods and services at public events for two years. Anyone who violates the ordinance “in the presence of minors” is barred for five years.
If we are to understand this right, being “gay in public” now means indecent behavior, such as public nudity or sexually performative acts in front of or with children in public.
That’s quite some heroic contribution to the LBTQIA+ cause there, Governor Newsom. Way to make every homosexual look like a sexual deviant who needs to groom children in order to be “gay in public.”
Since gay people are little more than faceless political pawns for sociopathic Democratic politicians like Newsom, it is apparently of little consequence to them if law-abiding, respectful homosexuals are conflated with child-groomers and perverts.
Newsom doesn’t see gay people as individuals. Gays are just a group to pander to in Gavin world. We have a few fetish types here in Tennessee but we don’t assume they are Gay. And, we don’t assume the fetish people can’t control themselves in public either. This law in Murfreesboro is just about good governance and a good environment for all citizens. Shame on the bigots.

They believe that homosexuals cannot control themselves and must get indecent and engage in sexual acts and kink at any given moment.
There is some evidence they would be right.
However, this is, once again, a Progressive proving that hedonism – total, unrestricted, libidinous lechery – is one of the pillars of their faith.
Public indecency? Would that include men stripping naked in women’s changing rooms under the pretence of being female?
Newsom doesn’t see gay people as individuals.
Liberals don’t view anyone as individuals. To them, every person is part of a greater collective and are merely interchangeable parts. That’s why the notion of individual rights offends them so much.
