Megyn Kelly Continues to Live Rent Free in Donald Trump’s Mind

Megyn Kelly recently returned from a vacation with her family, meanwhile she’s been spending all of this time living rent free in the mind of Donald Trump. Maybe while she’s in there she can poke around and see what his actual views entail? Does he like socialist healthcare as much as he says he does? Does he support flat tax or progressive tax? Does he actually think you can throw millions of assimilated families on buses and drive them over the border? Well, we may not have any idea what he actually believes, since he changes his mind almost daily, but at least we know that Megyn Kelly crawled under his skin and set up camp.

The good news is that Megyn made it through grade school, so this is not unfamiliar territory, I’m sure.

Said the Presidential candidate.

I saved the best for last:

Just in case you need a refresher:

bim·bo:

noun: bimbo; plural noun: bimbos; noun: bimbette; plural noun: bimbette

1. an attractive but empty-headed young woman, especially one perceived as a willing sex object.

Megyn Kelly returned after what we hope was a relaxing 10-day vacation that was scheduled months in advance. However, Trump suggested several times that the vacation was forced by higher-ups due to her behavior during the debate. We all know better at this point, and apparently Trump is still a wee bit upset with the journalist that asked him real questions.

The Republican front-runner’s infamous feud with Kelly — sparked in the aftermath of the first GOP debate, which Kelly co-moderated — reached a crescendo shortly before her temporary leave of absence, when Trump made a comment appearing to reference menstruation as a reason for a line of questioning he believed was unfair.
Many began to notice that the accounts Donald Trump was retweeting were just a bit suspicious: One is a fairly new account with just three followers, a few others are brand new with less than 20 followers; In fact, not one of the Megyn Kelly tweets came from an account with more than 100 followers, and many with under 100 tweets. In addition, while looking back at their history, it looks like these fine human beings have spent their entire Twitter career boosting Donald Trump. For those unfamiliar with Twitter, that’s a clear sign of trolling. So basically Trump boosted trolling keyboard warriors to momentary stardom just to call Megyn a bimbo.

Now, what could have possibly caused Donald Trump to pull the Twitter version of rocking in the fetal position? Maybe it was some of the facts she noted during the show. Like this one:

Gallup began tracking the images of all the major announced candidates for president nightly in early July. Since then, 14% of the roughly 650 Hispanics interviewed have said they view Trump favorably, while 65% have viewed him unfavorably, yielding a net favorable score of -51. This separates Trump from the next-most-unpopular Republicans among Hispanics — Rick Perry (-7), Ted Cruz (-7) and Jim Gilmore (-6), who are viewed far less negatively.
After his behavior towards Hispanics, did we really expect anything different? Is Megyn Kelly not supposed to report the news anymore unless it’s pro-Trump? The facts are, Donald may be polling well with so called conservatives, but when matched against Democrats, he is doing notably worse than other top candidates.
Trump
The bad news for Trump is that he’s well known, while other candidates aren’t. This early in the polls, it’s normal to see the unknowns trailing. Jeb Bush, not my personal pick, is leading – or very close – against Hillary in many polls, as is Marco Rubio, a lesser known candidate. As candidates gain exposure, that is expected to rise. However, Trump is a household name at this point, and when matched against Biden the results are the same. He is not going to win the middle ground, which we need. Maybe it’s time that we all start pushing for someone with a logical immigration plan, and stop supporting a man who has no idea what he even stands for, is basically a guaranteed loss in a general election, and calls journalists “bimbos” for reporting actual news. Just a thought. He’s giving our side a horrible name, and now an election that should have been an easy win is looking like quite the uphill battle.
Update:

Roger Ailes, Fox News Chief, has spoken out:

“Donald Trump’s surprise and unprovoked attack on Megyn Kelly during her show last night is as unacceptable as it is disturbing. Megyn Kelly represents the very best of American journalism and all of us at Fox News Channel reject the crude and irresponsible attempts to suggest otherwise,” Ailes statement reads. “I could not be more proud of Megyn for her professionalism and class in the face of all of Mr. Trump’s verbal assaults. Her questioning of Mr. Trump at the debate was tough but fair, and I fully support her as she continues to ask the probing and challenging questions that all presidential candidates may find difficult to answer,” Ailes said. “Donald Trump rarely apologizes, although in this case, he should. We have never been deterred by politicians or anyone else attacking us for doing our job, much less allowed ourselves to be bullied by anyone and we’re certainly not going to start now. All of our journalists will continue to report in the fair and balanced way that has made FOX News Channel the number one news network in the industry.”
Your turn, Donald. *Grabs popcorn*

    He’s such a blowhard. And a bully.

I don’t think I’ll ever understand his appeal.

      • OC says:

Marybeth, his “appeal” is that he is seen as a blast of fresh air from conservatives that are sick and tired of establishment Republicans campaigning one way and governing the opposite way. Democrat lite. These conservatives are so blinded in their rage that they don’t really pay attention to what Trump actually says and they ignore his lack of details.
Personally I hope Cruz or Walker get the nomination.

Since he’s the closest thing to a Democrat to ever run under the Republican ticket, I’m still going to question how he has garnered such attention. If I call Mexicans “rapists” and tell people that I’m going to do the impossible, can I also help put Democrats in office, flip-flop on every stance multiple times, and push for larger government under the conservative name? No. That would be illogical. He stands for everything conservatives should be against, yet we are letting him be the face of our party. On top of that, we have the greatest slate of conservatives to ever run, people who are even more conservative than Ronald Reagan, and we’re going to give this Democrat-lite attention?

From the outside looking in, this is what I’m seeing:

“Please give us good candidates like Cruz, Rubio, and Walker!”

“Okay, We’ll give you what you want. Here’s Cruz, Rubio, Walker, etc.”

“Never mind, we’ll take the Democrat!”

It’s not his appeal. People are so sick of the corruption in our government. Seems we never vote for a president anymore. We’re voting for the better of the two evils. I think people want a change at any cost and I’m embarrassed to say I catch myself listening to him. His words are simply spoken to our simple minds. There is no trust in anyone that has made a career in politics. Their heart might start out in the right place but it’s inevitable they will be corrupt. We the middle class are falling behind and shrinking. I’m sure it’s a matter of time before we implode and people are feeling desperate. His childish bullying is an embarrassment and I dare think of what that might sound like at a national political level. I love Carly and Marco and hope they are given the exposure they deserve. Enough with my babbling…just sayin. I think people are just grasping for hope;0(

Trump because we absolutely need a petulant, thin-skinned, man-child narcissist to replace the one we have as POTUS now, but it will be different because he has an “R” after his name.

Stosh-agreed. I liked Trump in the beginning. If someone were to ask me now, I think he’s doing more damage to the Republican ticket with his blowhard mentality and I think if he were to be elected (based on his current actions and demeanor), he would be just as bad as that guy we have sitting in the office right now. (He is back from vaca, right?) Trump may be a little less eloquent, but just as bad and destructive. We don’t need that. But, I think those who are diehard Trump see past this and see him as a New York businessman “calling ’em as they see ’em”, as a person not skirting around the key issue of illegals in this country. Great. I get that, I really do. But this whole Megyn Kelly obsession of his is not only unprofessional (maybe it’s his man-child way of showing he’s got the hots for her-he DOES like ’em younger) but it also shows that his ego is just out-of-control. Sure, every one has an ego. He’s a successful businessman; he’s entitled to have a bit of swagger and an attitude. But again, the last thing thing we need in The White House is a person with a Godzilla-sized ego and attitude–we see where that got us over the past 7 years, don’t we? The Dems are capitalizing on this beyond doubt and reinforcing the narrative of the stereotypes of the Republican Party–name it–they’re “sexist”, they “hate women”, they “are white men who hate the idea of immigration”, they are “greedy, money-grubbing big corporation advocates and hate the ‘little guy'”-you name it. I’d say if Trump has any chance of credibility right now, he may think about reining it in a touch. But honestly, it may be too little too late.
