The Marine charged in the subway chokehold death turned himself in to the 5th Precinct in Chinatown Friday morning. Meanwhile the lawyers for the family of the mentally ill man who died gave a press conference that was intended to stoke racial fears and pre-convict the Marine. I was this/close to taking a swing at my television with my custom, personalized Louisville Slugger. Daniel Penny, the Marine, should have been charged with second degree murder, according to the lawyers, instead of second degree manslaughter and everyone on the train was guilty of not helping this mentally ill man, but the man’s family. If you don’t know the background of this story, you can read my initial post here.
“NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE.”
After the Marine deactivated the mentally ill man scaring people on the subway with a chokehold, the police brought him in for questioning. He was not going to be charged until the REVEREND AL Sharpton whipped up a crowd and District Attorney Alvin Bragg bowed to public pressure, which is not what justice is about in a Constitutional Republic, unless they have changed that. Who knows? Daniel Penny turned himself in and was booked into the 5th Precinct. He was then moved to the courthouse. He surrendered his passport and was released on $100,000.00 bond:

Too bad the Marine attacked this former Michael Jackson impersonator for being hungry and homeless, she wrote with sarcasm. Over forty arrests. He punched an older woman in the eye and tried to kidnap a 7-year old child, among his arrests. In the post I wrote above, I included the video of him defecating on the sidewalk and walking around with his schlong out. None of these deserve the death penalty, but a man (Marine) has to do what a man has to do.
The Father and Auntie of the Mentally Ill Dead Guy hired attorneys Donte Mills and Lennon Edwards to represent the family’s interests (???) and they gave a 20 minute performance press conference:
From the New York Post:
Donte Mills and Lennon Edwards held a press conference in front of 225 West 34th St. in Midtown Manhattan just hours after Penny surrendered to the police.
The lawyers were accompanied by Neely’s father, Andre Zachary, and his aunt Mildred Mahazu, who did not speak during the event.
Both Mills and Edwards welcomed Penny’s arrest but stressed that it was not enough.
“We knew that justice would not be swift. We realized that justice was going to be a journey,” said Edwards. “Today we are not going to stop until we have full justice. We are going to pause to recognize that we have taken the first step, a step in the right direction.”-snip-
Edwards said in his conversations with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg he pushed for a second-degree murder charge punishable by up to a life in prison for Penny, arguing that the decorated Marine veteran intentionally cut off Neely’s air supply for 15 minutes.
“Justice looks like a conviction, and justice looks like a conviction for murder,” he said.
From NBC New York:
The family of Jordan Neely, the homeless man who died in a subway rider’s chokehold last week, sought to paint the 30-year-old as a promising young man crushed by the murder of his own mother who never got the help he needed from the mental health system — and who never to deserved to die on the floor of that F train in Daniel Penny’s grip.
While witnesses alleged Neely was threatening them on the train that May 1 afternoon, they also said he didn’t physically attack anyone before Penny put him in a chokehold. And that, says lawyer Donte Mills, is key.
“You can’t kill someone because you thought there was a possibility they could do something to you,” Mills said. “Mr. Neely didn’t attack anyone, he didn’t touch anyone, he didn’t hit anyone, but he was choked to death. That can’t stand.”
New York to get a mentally ill person the help he needs is difficult and convoluted. This was the family’s responsibility FIRST. Can we ask what steps Father and Auntie took to insure that the Mentally Ill Dead Guy didn’t punch older women in the eye or try to kidnap seven year old girls?
Attorneys Mills and Edwards think subway riders would be helping the mentally ill by giving them money or offering them food:

Seth Dillon of the Babylon Bee could not be more right:
They used to say evil prevails when good men fail to act. But now it prevails because good men — when they do act — are vilified, arrested, and charged with crimes. https://t.co/KTBkDv9keV

This is the future Attorneys Mills and Edwards and District Attorney Bragg want for us. Pray.

“He surrendered his passport and was released on $100,000.00 bond:”… I thought NYC didn’t do cash bond anymore.. ooh, wait, this guy is white…
Just trying to win the ghetto lottery… one more reason to stay away from demonrat cities.. also shows that law schools don’t teach ethics anymore…
Al Not-so Sharpton needs to go back to his Tawana Brawley days… can anyone explain why this con artist is taken seriously by anyone???
Hey, Sharpton isn’t talking on tape or in texts knowingly lying to his audiences and bad mouthing co-workers behind their backs. Sharpton’s media group has yet to reach the $787 million dollar defamation that Fox paid out to Dominion Voting Systems (and, there are other defamation cases against Fox). Can anyone explain why these con artists (Carlson, Hannity, Ingraham, et. al.) are take seriously by anyone? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
Nice try sparky, you’re still just as full of shit as sharpton
Trump never championed a woman who lied about getting gang raped by deputies. And he never led rioting mobs to kill Jews and trash their neighborhoods.
But of course, you’ll ignore those inconvenient facts and mutter about Trump while stroking yourself.
“… to represent the family’s interests.”
In other words the family and their lawyers can see a pot of money coming to them in the near future as they play the racial/victim game.
“…intentionally cut off Neely’s air supply for 15 minutes.”
Clearly the man was restrained for as long as necessary to keep him contained and others safe, but to state he choked/strangled him unconscious and then maintained the hold for so long is a stretch. I was once taken from behind and put in a ‘sleeper hold’ at school. I was only conscious before about 15 seconds before I slumped the floor where I woke up on my hands and knees. To keep pressure on for 15 minutes would not have been necessary if a circulatory/respiratory choke had been initially applied. I wonder what other medical conditions may have contributed to the man’s death.
Can we ask what steps Father and Auntie took to insure that the Mentally Ill Dead Guy didn’t punch older women in the eye or try to kidnap seven year old girls?
Nope. Because DAS RAYSIS!
Interesting the family can swing into action to reach out to lawyers, but not reach out and embrace the deceased while he lived.
Now, now; I’m sure there are valid reasons that have nothing to do with the money they are going to get out of the city over this.
If you managed to type that without laughing or choking, I am truly impressed!
One shot of whiskey followed by hitting send before I could stop myself.

Doesn’t that mean evil has already prevailed, and is in the “mopping-up” stage?
Eureka ! Why not put the illegal border people together with the homeless city people, on the subways? Out of sight out of mind, sheltered and protected. I have used the NYC subway system, its pretty nice.
