It is clear to all that GOP, Inc. has decided that Governor Ron DeSantis cannot beat President Donald John Trump in the 2024 Presidential Election and so they have decided to throw their big Corporate bucks behind Ambassador Nikki Hailey. The Koch Network (Koch Brothers) is throwing unlimited assets at Nikki. Our Carol once wrote that while she would love for the Republican Party to be the one that elected the first woman President, Nikki Haley is a “hard pass”. I completely concur. I fear that Nikki, with her changeable positions and dictatorial bent will be President George W. Bush in stilettos. Yeah, eww.
Here is how the St.Louis Dispatch announced the Koch Networks support for Nikki Haley:
Americans for Prosperity, the political arm of the powerful Koch network, formally endorsed Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign on Tuesday, promising to commit its nationwide army of activists — and virtually unlimited funds — to helping Haley defeat former President Donald Trump in the GOP primary contest.
“AFP Action is proud to throw our full support behind Nikki Haley, who offers America the opportunity to turn the page on the current political era, to win the Republican primary and defeat Joe Biden next November,” AFP president and CEO Emily Seidel wrote in a memo announcing the group’s decision.
“She has what it takes to lead a policy agenda to take on our nation’s biggest challenges and help ensure our country’s best days are ahead. With the grassroots and data capability we bring to bear in this race, no other organization is better equipped to help her do it.”
Money, organization and ground game are big assets behind any election. But, not the only ones. You also NEED a popular, hardworking candidate and a locked down base. Joe Biden doesn’t count as I believe he was installed not elected.
The Washington Examiner continued on with the Americans for Prosperity statement where the St. Louis Dispatch stopped:
The Koch network and like-minded activists had signaled for months they wanted to move on from former President Donald Trump.
“When we announced our decision to engage in our first ever Republican presidential primary, we made it clear that we’d be looking for a candidate who can turn the page on our political dysfunction — and win,” Americans for Prosperity Action’s Emily Seidel said in a statement.
“Donald Trump and Joe Biden will only further perpetuate the country’s downward spiral in politics,” she wrote in a memo explaining the group’s endorsement. “Furthermore, a significant majority of voters want somebody new.”
Haley has made a generational change in leadership, a not-too-thinly veiled swipe at the 81-year-old incumbent president and 77-year-old Trump, a central pillar of her White House campaign.
GOP, Inc./Koch Network/Americans for Prosperity really think that Conservative/Republican/Libertarian voters are a bunch of dupes. We are not. Some of us learned our lesson with George H.W. and George W Bush and Mittens Romney. I bet some of you remember the Bush 43 years when George would be insulted by some random talking head or weaselly Democrat politician and you would yell at the television to “sweep the leg”. It never happened.
Y’all know that I am on the Trump Train. I think about everything the Democrat Media Industrial Complex has thrown at him, the flat out lies, hoaxes, psyops and lawfare. You think Nikki Haley could tolerate that? They would not be impressed with her threat to throw a stiletto at them. Some people don’t like that Nikki goes by her second name, rather than her first – Nimrata. That would be a big “Who cares?”, except for her wanting to verify everyone’s identity on Social Media.
Nikki Haley doesn’t want to debate because she’s taken very Establishment-oriented positions.
She wants to force everybody to give their names on social media, proposed no limits on immigration, and took the side of Disney against us protecting our kids.
Haley is fundamentally… pic.twitter.com/s9oYWMQiNj

Will Nikki be forced to use Nimarata instead of Nikki? I think I know why Nikki used Nikki instead of Nimarata in high school. Sounds too much like NIMROD. Nimrod has been used as a slur during high school years. Nimarata is a lovely name.
Nimarata/Nikki does have a warmonger image to contend with. When she left government after the United Nations, she was on the Board of Boeing for $300K/per annum. Vivek looks like the child he is with this jibe:
But there is the GOP, Inc. love affair with Nikki:
The entire neocon RINO swamp, their donors, and their media propagandists are all trying to push warmonger Nikki Haley. LOL. She’ll never be President. https://t.co/5PmTJdrXPe

Corporate GOP can pour tons of money into Haley’s Presidential Run. We aren’t the same schmucks we have been in the past. We could use a strong but peaceful Sikh warrior. Nimrata is not the one, at least in the Primaries.

Yeah, these big donors are definitely backing the wrong horse in this one. Nikki is NOT what this country needs.
No, they’re backing the right horse – for THEM. THEY need her.
Sure, for them, but I meant for the good of the Republic (yeah, I know they don’t give a tiny rats ass about that)
Well how far can the Big Donor money go in sweeping her to victory? I recall Jeb Bush spent about $100M on his primary run and came away with single digit delegates from the Primaries before he called it quits.
Money doesn’t always have the loudest voice.
Hope it’s expensive.
For both of them.
