Kamala Desperately Wants To Look Helpful During Hurricane Milton

It’s obvious that Kamala Harris wants to be seen as large and in charge right now. Her interviews aren’t helping her case, so she really wants to be seen as a leader.

However, she and the Biden-Harris administration as a whole fell flat on their faces when it came to their response to Hurricane Helene. With Hurricane Milton making landfall in Florida late yesterday, Kamala was determined to make the most of her second chance.

But, as we know, her attempt to pick a fight with Ron DeSantis failed spectacularly when the governor of Florida said he spoke to Biden, because Kamala Harris is not in charge of anything, and then Biden went and backed up DeSantis. And he did it again right in the middle of Kamala’s appearance on “The View.

THAT had to hurt. Especially given the escalating tensions between Kamala’s staff and Jill Biden’s staff in the White House, which has now reportedly come to actual “physical altercations.” If Joe Biden didn’t know exactly what he was doing, then his staff most certainly did.

So Kamala Harris decided to join in on a FEMA meeting regarding Hurricane Milton.

Now, why would staff be talking to Kamala during a live feed? Why is she staring so intently at whoever just talked to her, and then immediately jumps in with her “question.” Was she being fed questions by her staff? Someone is clearly in the room with her. Well, so much for THOSE optics.

The media, clearly trying to egg this story on between Kamala and DeSantis, asked Joe Biden if the governor should be taking the vice president’s phone calls. Old Joe, intentionally or not, threw Kamala under the bus yet again.

On Wednesday, Biden delivered a widely televised address warning the public about the potentially catastrophic impact of Hurricane Milton, which began ravaging Florida’s coastline Wednesday night.

A reporter then asked Biden whether DeSantis should be taking Harris’ phone calls. He praised DeSantis and dodged answering the question directly.

“All I can tell you is I’ve talked to Gov. DeSantis. He’s been very gracious,” Biden said. “He’s thanked me for all we’ve done. He knows what we’re doing. And I think that’s important.”

Hours later, “sources” claimed that Biden had not been brought up to speed on the Harris-DeSantis interactions through the media. Raise your hand if you actually believe that.

There is no way on earth that Biden staffers were not directly aware of Kamala Harris’s attempt to get herself involved in the hurricane planning efforts, and how DeSantis was point-blank ignoring her while coordinating with the White House. Even if Biden himself wasn’t aware, the staff most certainly knew. So who is trying to smooth Kamala’s ruffled feathers here? Joe’s staff? Jill’s staff? Kamala’s staff?

Well, if at first you don’t succeed… find a Democrat mayor who is willing to take your call, and have it scripted and filmed so that EVERYONE KNOWS just how involved and helpful you are! And it’s so terribly transparent and pathetic. This is a campaign ad being shot during a hurricane, all to soothe the bruised ego of Kamala Harris.

This is so staged and so incredibly fake. But it doesn’t matter, because Kamala wants EVERYONE to know that she’s SUPER SERIOUS ABOUT THIS. She will literally call ANYONE for air time right now.

The stench of desperation is both insane and hilarious. If you have to keep telling people how in charge you are, then you’re really not.

Meanwhile, Hurricane Milton itself is cutting a path of destruction into Florida – including badly damaging the roof of Tropicana Field, where the Tampa Bay Rays play, in St. Petersburg.

Pictures and video on social media showed most of the fabric covering the domed roof torn off.

The ballpark in St. Petersburg was designated as a staging site for first responders and state and local emergency management services aiding with debris removal. The facility was set up to host 10,000 people, with cots arranged on the playing surface.

Capt. Garth Swingle of St. Petersburg Fire Rescue told ABC News they have contact with the people inside and they are safe. It wasn’t immediately known if there was damage inside the stadium, as well.

Hey, it’s a good thing that the mayor of St. Petersburg has a DIRECT LINE to Kamala Harris, right??? That roof will be fixed in no time at all!

I’m sure the fact that the mayor she chose to talk to was black is a pure coincidence, and not just another aspect of her attempt at pandering..
