Well, aren’t we the lucky ones. We had two, count them TWO, President types (nearly dead and wannabe) show up to greet the hostages/prisoners on their arrival at Joint Base Andrews going on midnight last night. Pity, two weeks earlier, neither one was available to greet Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu. Joe had an extra jolt last night and Kamala kept her heals on late to greet the arrivals from Russia. I saw you laughing over there. Stop it. Poor Joe, extra jolt or not, he looked so confused while Harris explained the importance of diplomacy.
For the families of those released, what happy news. Joyous. We are all grateful for those who are on home soil now:

Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich was among those released on Thursday after he was arrested and accused of being an American spy last year.
Ex-US Marine Paul Whelan, journalist Alsu Kurmasheva and Vladimir Kara-Murza – a duel British-Russian citizen who condemned the war in Ukraine – were also among the 16 released to the West.
In the clip below, Joe Biden talks about family and who we are as Americans. There are some people in Afghanistan who would like to have a word. There are some Americans held by Hamas who would have something to say also.
I don’t mean to be hateful or cynical. I am happy these good folks are home. I am a little distrustful about our government when it comes to getting our people out of a hostile situation.
As Kamala wends her way to becoming the official nominee of the chieftains of the Democrat Party, expect the Party Poobahs to keep Harris away from open forums and unscripted moments like this, from BizPacReview:
At around 11:30 p.m. the door to the plane opened and Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovich, former Marine Paul Whelan, and journalist Alsu Kurmasheva disembarked to applause, home at last after their hellish captivity.
If the scene was intended to make Harris seem presidential, it only confirmed why she is not when in a now-rare unscripted appearance, she showed why she was widely ridiculed until Biden quit under pressure and the propaganda operation to remake her commenced.
“This is just an extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy,” said Harris speaking to the cameras.
Kamala’s brief but incomprehensible remarks showed why it will be even more important for her handlers and the professional gaslighters in the media to wrap the DEI veep in a protective cocoon for the next three months until the election because any off-script moment is fraught with peril that like Biden during the CNN debate, she will be exposed as a fraud.

Republican vice presidential nominee Sen. JD Vance criticized the media and Vice President Kamala Harris over her comments following the repatriation of Americans jailed in Russia.
Vance appeared to critique Harris’ unscripted remarks made while standing beside President Biden at Joint Base Andrews in Camp Springs, Maryland.
“It’s amazing that journalists can look themselves in the mirror while letting this person coast to a major party nomination for president,” Vance said on X. “Is anyone going to ask this person a question?”
