Jack Schlossberg, internet loony troll, is now running for Congress. And attempting to channel his uncle JFK Jr because he has zero ideas of his own.
The only good ideas he has is that A. he hates Donald Trump with a passion and B. he hates his uncle RFK Jr. And it’s a toss-up as to which one he hates more.
That said, this childish internet troll has decided to bank on the Kennedy name and throw his hat into the ring for Jerry Nadler’s Congressional seat.
Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of John F. Kennedy, kicked off the first day of his campaign for the House of Representatives Wednesday by ranting against his “rabid dog” cousin, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
“RFK Jr. is a dangerous person who is making life and death decisions as secretary of Health and Human Services,” Schlossberg, 32, told MSNBC in an interview. “And you don’t have to take my word for it. Now we have an actual record to go on. He has cut a quarter of the people who work in his agency. He fired all the vaccine experts on the [Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices] and replaced them with anti-vaxxers.”
That tells me he’s going to be a one-note candidate for quite awhile. Especially since little Jack is on record making fun of RFK Jr’s speech issues and slamming Cheryl Hines for her looks. He got a lot of traction out of that and you can darned well bet that, unless someone reins him in, he’ll keep up the personal attacks.
Evidently Mom, Caroline Kennedy, doesn’t want him to run.
Caroline Kennedy is “living in fear” that her controversial son Jack Schlossberg’s run for Congress could make him “a target for violent haters,” sources told The Post.
Schlossberg — a progressive Democrat with a combined following of around 1.6 million on social media, where he’s earned a reputation for his bizarre rants — on Tuesday announced a run for the Manhattan congressional seat held for more than three decades by retiring “liberal lion” Jerrold Nadler, 78.
“Caroline has pleaded with Jack not to run, but he seems determined to follow in the political footsteps of his grandfather [President John F. Kennedy] and generations of other Kennedys who have held political office,” one insider reveals.
Has she MET her son? Has she paid attention to his online ravings?? He’s front and center as a hater towards not only his uncle and Donald Trump (in part because of the release of the files on his grandfather’s assassination), he hates anyone who is a Republican and/or conservative!
And she thinks he’ll be a target? Well, given how toxic the online community is, he could be. Then again, I hate to point out that he has absolutely participated in that toxicity.
Except I think he firmly believes he’ll get a pass on all of that. Which very well could happen because he’ll be catering to the progressive base who loves all that stuff.
Yet, one thing he is doing already is not only banking on the Kennedy name, he’s using his uncle, John F. Kennedy Jr, as a prop.
The official campaign website for Schlossberg’s run in the Democratic primary for New York City’s 12th district features the Kennedy family scion, 32, riding a bike through the streets of Manhattan while wearing a dark suit and backward cap with a backpack.
The photo is incredibly similar to ones of his famous uncle, who died in a crash of a plane he was piloting in 1999.
Schlossberg even pushes up his his right pant leg like Kennedy often did while riding his bike through the city.
Somehow I don’t think that’s going to resonate with the very uniformed uneducated progressive base he’s pandering to. Some political pundits agree.
For at least one political analyst in New York City, the effort to remind voters that he is part of the Kennedy dynasty is “completely idiotic.”
“His whole campaign is ridiculous. Here’s a guy with no record, no accomplishments trying to make himself into something he’s not. It’s patently ridiculous,” political strategist Hank Sheinkopf said. “This whole family still thinks they are all entitled to something.”
He’s claiming that New York City is the best city on earth…that needs a good watchdog in Congress. If it is the best city, why didn’t he run for Mayor?
While his new campaign website is spiffy, it’s thin on details and heavy on all the accolades from the media.

An overabundance of exclamation points!! !!
What’s comical about this is a quote from his interview in the NY Times.
“I also bring two years now of experience in a toxic and polluted media environment where, unlike a lot of people, I know how to breathe that air,” he said. “I think that this district needs somebody who knows how to fight back effectively in this new political era that we’re living in.”
Oh yes, your loony hateful diatribes on the internet are now considered a plus for Congress? Oh wait, he’ll fit right in with Jasmine Crockett, so there’s that.

To make him seem like he's another JFK. Unreal and unserious https://t.co/bZQQde8AN5 pic.twitter.com/8fRJEixaIh
Of course the media is eating this up. Yet the only thing Jack has to offer is internet toxicity and his family legacy.
