Jen Psaki is continuing her career as a serial liar and gaslighter. This time it’s in her new book, “Say More” that was recently published. According to Jen, Joe Biden did NOT check his watch at Dover during the dignified transfer of our 13 soldiers who were killed during the Afghanistan withdrawal.

Axios actually called her out on this falsehood. 

Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki claims in her new book that President Biden never looked at his watch during the ceremony for soldiers killed during the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021 — contradicting news photos and firsthand accounts of Gold Star families.

In her new book “Say More,” Psaki writes that “the president looked at his watch only after the ceremony had ended. Moments later, he and the First Lady headed toward their car.”

Except there was documented evidence and first-hand accounts ALL over the place! We documented most of those accounts here. 

It turns out that USA Today, among others, did a fact check of the situation at the time. And yes, Joe did check his watch.

While Biden did pay his respects to the fallen service members, photos and video show he also checked his watch during the ceremony.

Associated Press photos taken 10 minutes apart show Biden checking his watch during the ceremony. Another photo from the Agence France-Presse, distributed by Getty Images, also shows Biden glancing at his watch, although it’s unclear what time the image was taken.

What Axios THEN points out is that good ole Jen cherry picked the fact check in order to claim that NO, Joe didn’t insult our fallen soldiers and their families, because he only checked his watch after the ceremony was concluded. 

Let’s take a look back at when Jen was asked point blank about the situation just a day or so after the Dover ceremony. 

What she does NOT address in her response is whether Joe did or didn’t look at his watch multiple times during the ceremony. It was quite the non-answer that included a covert mention of Beau in an attempt to convey Joe’s “empathy.”

Joe was called out by Gold Star family members of the fallen. Shana Chappelle, mother of Marine Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, blasted him via a Facebook post. Darin Hoover said the same during an interview with Sean Hannity. The Hoovers, as a family, had already decided to not have a personal meeting with the President and Jill. That decision was solidified by Joe’s actions during the dignified transfer.

Biden was photographed checking his watch during the ceremony, which critics said showed a stark lack of empathy toward the grieving families.

Hoover claimed the president looked down at his watch not once but several times as the caskets were being offloaded:

“That didn’t happen just once. It happened on every single one that came out of that airplane. It happened on every single one of them. They would release the salute, and he would look down at his watch on every last one, all 13, he looked down at his watch,” Hoover said.

Needless to say, Jen is being called out for printing and publishing yet another false story about Joe Biden. This from a woman who claims she’s a journalist who has only presented true and accurate information. 

Well, she’s now having to walk back her story.

Read her statement again. What Jen is REALLY saying is that how dare the rubes quibble about the details of Joe checking his watch! It was, according to Jen, the families of our fallen soldiers who acted badly when Joe was just trying to tell yet another story about Beau! 

Moreover, in her book, she went on to claim that anyone criticizing Joe at that time was guilty of misinformation! 

The MSNBC host continued to write that Biden’s critics were engaged in “misinformation” and used the image to make “him appear insensitive, concerned only about how much time had passed.”

I’ve a strong feeling, as they did during a Gold Star Family roundtable with members of Congress, will have more than a few thoughts about Jen’s attempt to gaslight and peddle a boatload of misinformation as to what really happened at Dover on that sad day.
