JD Vance has had enough. Yesterday he laid into Dems about their political violence rhetoric. He’s had enough of them slinging insults and then running away from the issue when deranged leftists take their rhetoric as gospel. 

Vice President J.D. Vance called on Democrats (and Republicans) to tone down violent rhetoric in our politics, specifically against law enforcement, during a speech in North Carolina on Wednesday.

“When Democrats like Gavin Newsom say that these people are part of an authoritarian government, when the left-wing media lies about what they’re doing, when they lie about who they’re arresting, when they lie about the actual job of law enforcement-what they’re doing is encouraging crazy people to go and commit violence,” Vance said.

From the attempted assassinations of President Trump, to Charlie Kirk’s assassination, to blatant assaults on ICE officers all over the country, and now the shooting at the ICE facility in Dallas, time and again we find that those committing the acts of violence are reading from the leftist playbook. 

Democrats don’t want to hear that. They don’t want to be called out for it. They want to continue insulting conservatives and expect zero consequences for their actions and words. 

What Democrats and leftists fail to realize is that Americans are getting fed up. We WANT law & order. We don’t want soft-on-crime politicians and judges who would let a criminal walk over 14 times, only to brutally murder Iryna Karutska.

We aren’t the ones calling on Democrats to vocalize their rage. We aren’t the ones calling for people to physically confront Republicans wherever they are. We aren’t the ones labeling someone we disagree with as a Nazi or as Hitler.

Gavin Newsom and his Press Office got their shorts in a knot over Vance’s commentary. 

“I will not be going ‘straight to hell’ today,” he wrote on X. “Though when I watch you speak I certainly feel like I’m already there.”

Vance — who once warned that Trump could become “America’s Hitler” — also used the speech to urge people to stop using the word “Nazi” as an insult.

Newsom’s press office account had fun with the veep’s old rhetoric.

“According to JD Vance, JD Vance is going to hell because JD Vance compared Trump to Hitler!” the account wrote.

The fact that they responded thusly tells me that Vance’s comments left them on the defensive. Furthermore, they don’t want anyone to realize that Vance changed his mind long ago and said he was wrong to use that phrase. Democrats never have and likely never will back away from using Nazi and Hitler to define their political opponents. 

What was it that Vice President JD Vance said?

The very people who keep us safe ought to be honored and protected and praised by Democrats and Republicans alike. It is time to stop the rhetorical assault on law enforcement,” said Vance, speaking of ICE and other law enforcement.

“Because here’s what happens. When Democrats like Gavin Newsom did, say that these people are ‘part of an authoritarian government.’ When the left-wing media lies about what they’re doing – when they lie about who they’re arresting – when they lie about the actual job of law enforcement – what they’re doing is encouraging crazy people to go and commit violence.”

You don’t have to agree with my immigration policies. You don’t have to agree with Donald Trump’s immigration policies. But if your political rhetoric encourages violence against our law enforcement, you can go straight to hell, and you have no place in the political conversation of the United States of America,” Vance said.

Democrats have demonstrated for years that they don’t like law & order. Coddling criminals, ignoring the victims of crime, and demonizing conservatives and their political opponents is a major feature with them. Not a bug. 

This last from JD Vance says it all.

Well, I would like everybody-whether a Democrat, a Republican, or an Independent, especially those in political leadership-can we all just agree that our police officers are heroes, that they are public servants, and that the first and most important step of keeping all of us safe is to keep our police officers safe, because they are the thin blue line between civilization and chaos.

If our communities aren’t kept safe, everyone suffers. EVERYONE. Rampant unchecked crime and an uber lenient judiciary is a legal, civil, and economic issue.

Americans who want their communities and especially themselves to be safe wherever they are know this. Democrats know this. But they choose to vilify law enforcement instead of helping keep their communities safe. 

They chose the rhetoric of political violence over the safety of the citizens in their districts.
