Jasmine Crockett is here to tell us that ICE is the new modern day slave patrol. Yes, really.
Jasmine Crockett claims that she learned history and knows that police are a direct product of “slave patrols” so they need to be abolished. She learned that from Tumblr. pic.twitter.com/ZiZyxPNcwO

Jasmine doesn’t know diddly about history. First of all policing was NOT born out of the slave trade. Far from it.
Secondly, she is hoping no one reminds her that the DEMOCRAT party wanted the slave trade to continue. They fought tooth and nail against the Emancipation Proclamation, fought against the North in the Civil War, and for darned certain were all in on segregation.
I can guarantee you she knows full well that history, but is putting her own spin on it for the sake of her chosen narrative.
“It’s almost like you can just go grab them up — that is what they’re saying. And that is a problem. We all should have a problem with that. But when you don’t want to teach American history, that includes Black history, then you lose out on the benefit of understanding that we have been down this road before and it was not good, and we fixed it once, and it is a shame that we are relitigating this and we are going to have to fix it again.”
It isn’t conservatives who’ve gotten rid of history classes in schools. Better take a good look at the unions and the Department of Education for that one.
Keep in mind, Jasmine just a day or so ago was insisting that none of HER rhetoric is hateful and won’t incite anyone.
“Me disagreeing with you, me calling you, wannabe Hitler, all of those things are not necessarily saying, go out and hurt somebody,” she said Friday.
Co-host Charlamagne tha God offered a more nuanced perspective, acknowledging that both political parties engage in potentially inflammatory rhetoric.
“I think we all incite—whether we think we do or not. And what I mean by that is I’ve definitely called that regime fascist,” he said, suggesting that the problem extends beyond partisan boundaries.
Crockett pointed to what she described as a “culture of violence” promoted by Trump and his “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) supporters, arguing that there’s a fundamental difference between harsh political criticism and explicit calls for physical action.
She wants us all to ignore that spending years calling President Trump or Charlie Kirk or anyone else for that matter, Hitler or fascist, doesn’t cause damage. There are far too many people out there who will uncritically look at what Jasmine says and nod their head in agreement.
And it doesn’t help that she received no pushback from Ali Veshi during this morning’s interview.
Two other things regarding Jasmine’s asinine and dangerous rhetoric. ICE today and federal law enforcement from the beginning of this Republic were NEVER used by the federal government as slave patrols.
Her rhetoric is dangerous. Why? Because there will be some people who will believe it and do exactly zero fact-checking. And some one could become emboldened to attack an ICE officer.
It could happen. Especially if the Democrats in California have their way and ban ICE agents from wearing masks. The masks are to protect their identities from doxxing them or their families. Or assaulting them. Something that has already happened on more than one occasion.
Jasmine Crockett is now insisting that ICE is the new modern day slaver patrol. And at the same time insisting it is perfectly fine for her to call people she disagrees with Hitler, Nazis, or fascist. Moreover, she’s emboldening other criminals by informing them on national tv that she has their backs.
How can a criminal not feel empowered after hearing a person with that level of authority speak that way?

Tell me again, who are the violent ones?

If Crockett wants to learn about the history of slavery (which I doubt), including how it was organized and slaves were taken prisoner by other African tribes and marched to the sea for slavers’ ships to avoid US Navy and British Navy patrols, she should start with Zora Neale Huston’s book Barracoon: The Story of the Last “Black Cargo”.
But, learning the facts from the research and writings of a black, woman scholar is less Woke than repeating the current narrative (which gets invites to parties given by white, elite Progressives).
[…] ON THE CONTRARY. THEY’RE THE ONES TAKING THE LEFTISTS’ SLAVES AWAY. AGAIN: Jasmine Crockett Says ICE Is The New Modern Day Slave Patrol. […]
If ICE are the new “slave patrols,” isn’t she admitting that she views illegal aliens as slaves? That seems like kind of a Freudian slip.
With very few exceptions(eg Mogadishu) every city in the world has a police force. Is Jasmine saying that every one of those countries had slave patrols? If so , doesn’t that kinda take the onus off of the U.S. as the inventor of slavery and only country in history to have allowed it? Also, can Jasmine tell us roughly how many Republicans participated in the average slave catching patrol? I’m curious to know.
Crockett is just one more “ugly, angry black woman ?” Don’t listen to anything she has to say.
