As our Deanna told you this morning, Donald Trump has a decision to make on Iran. After conferring with his National Security team, President Trump has advised the world that he is giving them a two week grace period. That works for most of the civilized world, the Left and the Panicans are unhappy. While Panican was coined by Trump with regard to his tariffs, Panicans will panic at absolutely anything and everything, It is apt here.
We all knew that Trump was being brief by the National Security team this morning and the morning anchors were blithering their excitement. Trump completely supports Israel’s degrading of capabilities that Iran has in her arsenal. The questions that the Left and the Panicans were blubbering about was “American boots on the ground”. To quote the Princess Royal, Princess Anne, from many years ago, “Not bloody likely”.

President Trump said Thursday he would make his final decision on whether to strike Iran in the “next two weeks,” because he’s still hoping for negotiations.
“Based on the fact that there’s a substantial chance of negotiations that may or may not take place with Iran in the near future, I will make my decision whether or not to go within the next two weeks,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters, reading a statement directly from Trump during her daily briefing.
The press secretary stressed that Iran currently has the capability of creating a nuclear weapon — and could do so with the directive of their Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
I trust President Trump and I neither a Leftist nor a Panican. I am happy to have this decision on what to do with Iran punted. For over a decade, Donald Trump has made it clear that he does not see any possible way that the rogue state should have a nuclear warhead and that that would be an existential threat to the world. Mike Pompeo wrote the same this morning:
President Donald Trump has repeatedly said peace cannot exist in a world in which Iran has access to nuclear weapons.
He is exactly right.
A nuclear Iran would pose a threat to peace everywhere.
It would enable the regime to effectively hold the world hostage, with the power to disrupt the global economy or coerce other powers into bending to its will.
It would insulate the dictatorship from popular pressure for change and allow the mullahs to continue their role as the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism.
Trump has core beliefs that he is consistent on. He loves our troops and despises loss of life. He will not take a chance on the mission going pear-shaped. If Trump grants Iran two weeks to change their narrative to her own people and at the same time, gives us more time to test out scenarios.
I may flippantly joke about flipping the B2 bomber keys to Bibi Netanyahu. That’s neither s simple or straightforward move. Lots of refueling would need to happen. Will two Bunker Buster Bombs work or would it take three or more? If it works at all.
I doubt this is true, but I wouldn’t cry if it is.
Trump will decide within two weeks whether or not to hit Fordow.

Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, is 86 years old and is a member of the Muslim death cult, fairly or unfairly. Waiting to negotiate with him is a fool’s errand. On the other hand, cooler heads may come out on top and giving us more time to plan is a good thing. If the B2 is ready, it is impressive:

Wfjag says: The second carrier battle group will arrive; the B-2s will be deployed to Diego Garcia; non-essential personnel, dependents and equipment will be sent to the U.S. and Europe; tactical aircraft and equipment and logistical support will be put into hardened enclosures and berms and slit trenches and bomb shelters constructed; the master hackers will be given free reign; supply ships will be loaded and sail (Obama and Biden gutted logistical support equipment and Trump 45 had to rebuild and retrain the combat forces and didn’t have the time and money to rebuild the support bases); and the Peace at Any Price Europeans led by Macron will have no basis to complain or support.
All of this will take about 10 days, leaving time for some practice. And showing certain countries that we can organize and deploy in a short time over long distances is a message that won’t be misunderstood.
And the Supreme Leader is an old man. In Persian history unpopular leaders not infrequently died in their sleep.
