Given the antipathy of Iran against Donald Trump, no one should be shocked that they hacked into the Trump campaign files.

After all, we knew that Iran had gone a-hackin’ back in August, when the media was contacted and offered internal Trump campaign documents. This time, though, the FBI says that Iran didn’t just hack into the Trump campaign – they offered the purloined information to the BIDEN campaign.

As fellow Victory Girl Darleen said, the only thing that surprises her about this story is that the FBI didn’t put this out during a Friday night press dump.

Iranian hackers sent sensitive information stolen from the Trump campaign to President Joe Biden’s campaign earlier this summer, U.S. investigators said Wednesday.

The emails were sent in June and July to individuals “associated with the Biden campaign” and “contained an excerpt taken from stolen, non-public material from former President Trump’s campaign,” the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the FBI and CISA said in a statement.

The Iranians have also continued trying to leak “non-public” Trump campaign material to media organizations since June, the agencies said.

It is unclear to what extent the then-Biden campaign read or made use of the information the Iranians sent.

The three agencies said the emails were unsolicited and campaign staff did not reply to them.

Morgan Finkelstein, spokesperson for the campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris, which replaced the Biden campaign, said in a statement Wednesday that “we have cooperated with the appropriate law enforcement authorities since we were made aware” of the information being sent to Biden campaign personnel.

“We’re not aware of any material being sent directly to the campaign; a few individuals were targeted on their personal emails with what looked like a spam or phishing attempt,” Finkelstein said. “We condemn in the strongest terms any effort by foreign actors to interfere in U.S. elections including this unwelcome and unacceptable malicious activity.”

Karoline Leavitt, Trump’s campaign spokesperson, said the development “is further proof the Iranians are actively interfering in the election to help Kamala Harris and Joe Biden because they know President Trump will restore his tough sanctions and stand against their reign of terror.”

“Kamala and Biden must come clean on whether they used the hacked material given to them by the Iranians to hurt President Trump. What did they know and when did they know it?” she said in a statement.

And that truly is a key question. Are we simply supposed to take the Harris team’s word that ABSOLUTELY NO ONE from Team Biden even PEEKED at whatever material they were sent?

There are other questions to consider as well.

Has the Biden-Harris Admin taken any action to impose severe consequences on Iran for meddling in our election?

Oh yes, remember all that money that the Biden administration has so helpfully given to Iran. Which I’m so very sure that they only used for “humanitarian” needs. Which then, of course, freed up the money that they would have spent on those “humanitarian” needs on drones and bombs and hackers.

Donald Trump is very convinced that the Harris campaign, via the previous Biden campaign, has gotten information on them.

Meanwhile, Team Kamala is insisting that THEY are the true victims in this situation. Why? Because Iran sent THEM the emails, which means that Iran considered them an easy mark for a set-up? WOE IS THEM.

And yes, it is true that the Biden campaign (when it was still the Biden campaign) was also targeted by the initial hacking scheme, but it is also true that the mullahs of Iran have indicated that they would prefer Kamala Harris over Donald Trump. And why not? Kamala Harris cannot name anything that she would do differently in foreign policy than Joe Biden has already done. Which means that a policy of appeasement and conciliation toward Iran – something that Barack Obama always pushed for, especially with the Iran Deal – would likely continue on with Kamala Harris in the Oval Office. Iran has gotten BILLIONS of dollars off Joe Biden’s policy. Why wouldn’t they want that to continue?

Iran would love nothing more than to see Kamala Harris, with her wishy-washy word salads, be president and let them continue to fund terror in the Middle East and discord in the United States. A weak and ineffective president means a weak and ineffective American foreign policy – which means that there is opportunity for Iran to throw its weight and its money around in the Middle East. And that is a frightening proposition for the entire region, and the world.
