Ilhan Omar is once again dealing with pesky distractions. Distractions that involve a contentious divorce, a political PR firm, and questionable use of campaign finances. Omar doesn’t want us to focus on these distractions because, we might discover that Omar is indeed …not a good person.
First, the distraction of a contentious divorce. Yesterday the New York Post published a detailed story regarding the divorce filings involving Omar’s E Street PR handler, Tim Mynett.
“Dr. Beth Mynett says her cheating spouse, Tim Mynett, told her in April that he was having an affair with the Somali-born US representative — and that he even made a “shocking declaration of love” for the Minnesota congresswoman before he ditched his wife, alleges the filing, submitted in DC Superior Court on Tuesday.”
There is much more at the link, including information detailing that Tim Mynett introduced their son to Omar and brought Omar into their home without Beth Mynett’s knowledge. According to the filing, this happened prior to Tim Mynett informing Beth that their marriage was over.
Then there’s this “distraction.” Omar has paid Tim Mynett and the E Street firm $230,000 since July 2018.
Ilhan Omar's congressional campaign has paid the consulting firm of a man whose wife says left her for the first-term congresswoman $222,000 since August 2018, campaign finance records indicate.

Government ethics expert, Tom Anderson, had this to say regarding the payments to Mynett and the E Street firm.
““We believe Representative Ilhan Omar may have touched the third rail of campaign finance law: disbursing campaign funds for personal use,” Anderson told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “It’s a brazen act Representative Omar was caught doing before in Minnesota and all of the evidence we’ve seen tells us she’s probably doing it again.””
Keep in mind that Omar has already been fined twice for campaign violations. Both violations involved using campaign funds for personal expenditures. Including dealing with a divorce from one of her husbands.
As pointed out here, the payments to Mynett happened AFTER Omar won her primary and skated to victory in the non contested general election. Currently E Street has been paid $160,000 this calendar year. Essentially one in three dollars for her reelection campaign is going to one entity. Something is definitely fishy here.
How is she handling these newest distractions? With denials and dodges.
Deny! Deny! Deny!
This comes hours after Omar spoke to @WCCO and responded to new allegations revealed in a divorce filing.

In other words, I’m ‘focusing on the present’ and shaking things up in DC! These issues you speak of are distracting!
Too bad for Ilhan. There are too many questions regarding her, her actions, those of Tim Mynett, and her use of funds. Ilhan Omar has a long history of problematic choices, questions regarding her marriage(s), and misuse of campaign funds. All questions the media has chosen to ignore, or call out the ‘right-wing blogs’ such as Powerline blog and PJMedia. Why? Because their reporting over that of the media is causing problems for their chosen one.
Ilhan, as mentioned above, denies that there is an issue regarding Tim Mynett, her campaign, or the funds paid to E Street.
None of her denials pass the smell test. Given that, is it any surprise that an ethics complaint, which you can read here, has been filed against her?
Ethics complaint filed against @Ilhan's campaign, contending that the 'Travel Expense' payments to Tim Mynett's E Street Group, LLC firm constitute illegal 'personal use' of campaign funds in violation of FEC rules.https://t.co/kKhy8uwTBi pic.twitter.com/dkKbXkmsrX

While the fundraising consulting costs are in line with what E Street Group has received from other campaigns, the large travel expenditures beginning in April 2019 appear to be unique to Ilhan Omar's campaign. pic.twitter.com/grzcP2zqdv

Keep in mind, as pointed out here, and in the ethics complaint, Tim Mynett’s formal E Street relationship didn’t begin until July 2018, with a directed payment of $7,000. Yet it is noted that travel reimbursement didn’t start until April 2019. Right at the same time Mynett informed his wife he wanted a divorce and moved out.
Again, there’s a lot of stinking fish flopping around this story.
Ilhan Omar tells us she has zero desire to answer questions or even discuss all of this. Her snotty inference being …how dare you try to distract me??!!
Look, we’ve written about Ilhan Omar many times. She’s been called out for her hatred of America, her anti-Semitism, her love for Palestine and terrorist groups, and for her convoluted marriage(s) to her brother and Ahmed Hirsi whom she’s now divorcing.
Ilhan’s methodology is to deny everything and declare that these accusations aren’t credible, but instead are a distraction. Ilhan Omar gets an A+ for adopting the Hillary Clinton Denial and Distract playbook.

Omar is one of the “anointed ones”…one of the muslim darlings of the liberal left. She should be booted out of Congress, but my guess is that she will skate…ala Hillary!

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA… *breath* … HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Something is definitely fishy here.
Meh. I doubt anyone would look twice if it weren’t her alleged mister(?). If the company handles things (like advertising*) it would make sense to give them lots of money so they could pay those other bills.
(* She should really look at getting her money back, if they’ve been paid for advertising, since they should have told her to shut up.)
[Hit Post too early…]
‘personal use’
What? I would think ‘releasing her chakra’ or ‘hiking the Appalachian Trail’ would be a necessary component of her campaign. Keep the anger at her freedom and privilege tamped down that way.
Right at the same time Mynett informed his wife he wanted a divorce and moved out.
That’s weird. You would think the ‘personal use’ would be during the affair.
a lot of stinking fish flopping around
That’s a sexist dog whistle! For shame!
*goes to gather an internet mob*
*(really goes to get a beer)*
*exit to sounds of pr0n music*

Under Sharia law, a woman accused of adultery is guilty until found stoned to death!
Omar is a bag of shit, from a third world shithole, her family brought here by a grandfather who hated everything about America… the fact that she was elected to Congress proves how far this once great republic of ours has fallen..
And yes she’s a poster child for the left, showing their ignorance of the fact that should their “golden children” of the muslim “faith” will kill her and her ilk the second they gain power..
“Liberalism” truly is a mental disorder.
