Illegal immigration and border enforcement are the issues where President Trump is running away with wins. Democrats cannot seem to wrap their minds around this, and have actively decided that ICE raids are the great “evil” they cannot tolerate.
Why else would they have picked a real winner like Kilmar Abrego Garcia to champion? Why else would they refuse to acknowledge the pain, grief, and suffering that “angel moms” have gone through? Why else would idiot politicians like Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles decide that complaining about ICE raids taking place throughout the city is really the way to prove to the citizens of your city that You Care™ (even though the city burned on your watch and no one can get a permit to rebuild)?

The appearance of ICE within the greater Los Angeles area has brought out professional protesters, agitators, and those spoiling for a fight.
Protesters who decided to interfere with federal officials were arrested, with a warning from the White House that this would not be tolerated.
ICE has arrested a total of 118 people in L.A. in connection with suspected immigration violations this week, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
As advocates and families of detainees scrambled for information, federal officials made clear Saturday that more arrests were on the way.
“Federal law enforcement operations are proceeding as planned this weekend in Los Angeles County,” U.S. Atty. Bill Essayli said on X. “Anyone who obstructs federal agents will face arrest and prosecution.”
On Friday evening, crowds gathered outside the federal detention center in downtown Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department declared an unlawful assembly and ordered the roughly 200 remaining protesters to disperse around 7 p.m.
Following reports of a small group of “violent individuals” throwing large pieces of concrete at officers, police authorized the use of so-called less-lethal munitions at 8 p.m., LAPD said. A citywide tactical alert was issued shortly thereafter.
As reports of new raids emerged Saturday morning, federal officials criticized protesters’ actions and warned of further consequences.
“The Left’s dangerous rhetoric against brave American law enforcement has fueled hatred and inspired violence. Democrats must immediately call on their supporters to stop the attacks on ICE officers who are simply doing their job — and have every right to do so,” White House spokesperson Abigail Johnson said in a statement. “To those who harm law enforcement officers, know this: you will be held accountable to the full extent of the law.”
The arrest of an SEIU leader on Friday should serve as a warning that the feds absolutely mean it. But naturally, the union and the media (but I repeat myself) are up in arms that ICE agents dared to lay a hand on the guy.
David Huerta, president of the Service Employees International Union California (SEIU) and SEIU- United Service Workers West, was injured during his arrest. According to Rep. Gil Cisneros (C-31), Huerta was also tased.
The arrest happened as hundreds of protesters rallied in downtown Los Angeles late Friday afternoon, condemning the ICE immigration raids that took place at three different locations across L.A. earlier in the day.
At some point, there was a scuffle involving federal agents and it appeared Huerta was pushed down and hit his head. One video shows a federal agent pushing Huerta while he has his hands at his hips, after which, he falls to the ground.
He was hospitalized and treated for his injuries, but has since been released. Huerta remains in custody, according to a statement from the union.

Let me be clear: I don’t care who you are—if you impede federal agents, you will be arrested and prosecuted. No one has the right to assault, obstruct, or interfere with federal authorities carrying out their duties.
ICE, and the Trump administration, has no intention of backing down. Which means the protesters are going to escalate. Is everyone ready for the next “Summer of Love”?

Democrats are the party of illegal immigration, apparently believing that illegals are meant to be the permanent underclass of manual labor in American society, doing everything from picking crops to wiping asses. How utterly dehumanizing and racist. And yet they are going to own this, as their minions take to the streets waving the flags of other countries to complain that they should be able to work freely in this country, with no legal status or documentation or background check whatsoever.
We either have the rule of law in this country, or we don’t. The reason why President Trump is winning on immigration and border security is because most “normies” believe that, and voted for it. The professional agitators are the ones in the streets, throwing rocks and trying to block traffic. Do Democrats really think these images resonate with middle America? Does Karen Bass think she is increasing her popularity in Los Angeles with her statements? And where is Governor Gavin Newsom? Probably recording a podcast, trying to convince voters that he’s very moderate now so he can run for president. Someone start getting all those Democrats who harbor aspirations of being president on record (as they are apparently trying to “un-woke” themselves to make themselves more electorally palatable) and ask what their stance is on these ICE raids, and if they support immigration enforcement and border security. Can Democrats who want to run for president survive bucking the left wing of their party, the people willing to throw rocks at law enforcement vehicles, and insist that immigration laws must be followed? I’m waiting to see that happen.

draigh says: “no one can get a permit to rebuild.” Not true! I recently heard that a whopping 55 (yes, that’s right, fifty-five) permits have been issued to rebuild houses. At this rate, it will be 2800 before all the houses are rebuilt.
Blackwing1 says: It will be interesting to see how this pans out when these collectivist idiots think that they can try these tactics in a city in a Rep-wing state. My favorite envisioned scenario would be something like this.
– “Protesters” gather and get themselves embroiled in a scuffle with ICE, DHS and police serving legitimate warrants for arrests of illegals.
– They quickly morph from their “protest” cover to the actual rioters that they are.
– The police are forced to yield the streets to them, but contain them in a small portion (maybe a couple of blocks) of the city.
– The mayor immediately declares a state of emergency, and declares martial law.
– The police use bullhorns, helicopters, and every other method to (literally) read them the riot act, noting that they will be shot on sight if caught in riotous action (breaking into buildings, looting, arson, etc.)
– Three man teams are set up, with a cameraman, a back-up man with bullhorn, and a sniper.
– Each time one of the scum of the earth commits a riotous act the are given a verbal warning to immediately desist and surrender…at night, light ’em up with an intensely focused spotlight. With the cameraman recording it all, give them three warnings, then open fire.
– Lather, rinse, repeat until the rioters are all either dead, wounded, or laying down on the ground with their hands stretched out in front of them.
– Have a couple of semi-trailers around in which to stack the bodies, and another couple to pile in any survivors.
– Identify the dead and then truck the bodies out to a remote (undisclosed) location and bulldoze ’em under.
– Give the survivors a quick-and-dirty court-martial (martial law, remember) using any available video evidence. Any guilty are sentenced to a minimum of tens years of hard labor…we’ve got lots of forests that need work, and lots of brush to be cut on roadsides.
And this is me being nice. I won’t actually believe that we as a people are serious about controlling our cities until they start to deploy belt-feds. Anybody who is stupid enough to actually stick around after a riot act has been read is too stupid to live.
Wanna bet how long they’d keep trying to riot, loot, burn, and murder in a Rep-wing state?
(Yes, this is all over-the-top hyperbole, but it’s a nice thought, isn’t it?)
